Barracuda Message Archiver vs MailStore Server: Which is a better fit?

The web interface was straight​ forward and it was easy to do searches. We liked the ability of our end users to be able to search their own archives.

We really didn't​ want to leave) This is where we feel (and perhaps any company​ that provides cloud services) that Barracuda turned evil.

The software is very easy to create an account and to link already existing email accounts to. Allows for good encryption and helpful sharing of files.

User interface seemed a little empty overall, can be frustrating to have repeat emails sent, or having copies sent to the same email twice.

Allows Easy Sharing - Good for Multi-business Contact.

Can't really think of anything I don't like. I am a user so bad nothing to do with setting up the software.

Good integration with a Exchange, also can do a cloud backup of the archived to Barracuda cloud as well.

Barracuda Message Archiver sometimes presents problem in the moment syncing the some articles where it would hang on a job.

Excellent email backup and archive software. We helped number of companies, they are more happy now.

I have used this software in two companies so far. My first company I was archiving users mailboxes to PSTs to store on our server, users hate to delete old emails.

It is helping me a lot to retrieve all historical conversations which are needed in my daily work. The good thing about it is being able to find an email and reply to it using outlook.

In a recent issue, we needed to recover from Mailstore emails relating to a warranty issue for a customer, that were sent to an associate that no longer worked for us.

User friendly interface and easy accessible from anywhere, even from your mobile. It comes with outlook plugin, which is more easy to read archived mails and also reply to the archived mails.

When I had issues it was difficult to get in touch with the creators and the customer support was not good.

I like Mailstore Server: it has a simple interface, very intuitive and find support on internet is easy and fast. It is ideal for any small/medium business.
