It's kind of easy to use for the administrator and for the user.
They over-promise and under-deliver, have lots of bugs and its constantly having errors.
Its easy to use, has a intuitive platform, useful reasorces and fast answering customer support.
Not recommended if you want to avoid worrying about bothering your clients all the time.
It looks like once you get it set up it would be good, but it's so glitchy now I have little faith we'll actually get it done.
The help to get set up is slow and painful. You run into an issue or bug every other step, and it takes someone 1/2 a day to get back to you with answers.
So easy to use with my small business. Thank you for all of the wonderful features and tracking purchases/reports.
I have tried two other online schedule systems prior to square. Both proved to be complicated and confusing for myself and my clients causing many missed appointments by both of us.
I think my overall experience with square appointments booking system has been a great one. I rarely had to contact support and when I have any issues were resolved swiftly.
If you encounter a problem it can be very difficult to find the contact number for customer service through the square site.
What I liked the most about square appointments was the ease of being able to input my information about my schedule so clients would be able to create appointments effortlessly.
The only problem with it is that typically our clients just want black and white, yes or no, a or b.
Not only is it affordable, but it's straightforward and easy to use. I have tried many of the other appointment booking services out there and I find Square to be the most reliable.
We set up the schedule, blocked out times, and were able to make exceptions.
Carolyn B.: Hi, I'm Carolyn, owner Carolyn's Mobile Cat Grooming, it's a small business, and we give Square Appointments a four out of five stars. Prior to using Square we were using a patchwork of applications and we thought moving into Square Appointments would bring it everything into one space concisely for us. I really like that Square keeps us organized, and I also like their reputation. My customers are comfortable with it, they know them, and we're able to move on to the business at hand. Setup process was a little bit cumbersome for us as a company, just because of the massive numbers of contacts we already had with Google. The syncing isn't perfect with Square as far as syncing contacts from communications in say Google Workspace and then onto Square, you have to create a whole document, and then there's duplicates and issues with it being formatted correctly. However, their customer service is at hand and they're very patient and they're happy to help figure out any problems that you come across. They do have a service where they'll do it for you and format it for you, but again, I spent a couple of months fixing that for our company. Otherwise, I found their setup process to be easier than some. You get bombarded by a lot of steps that you want to take. However, they do offer a step-by-step list so you know, oh, you completed this step, you haven't completed this step, so it does help you keep organized in that respect. I would definitely ask Square to upgrade their syncing across platforms such as Google Workspace and Google Contacts, but other than that I was pretty happy with the initial setup process. If you're thinking about using Square Appointments, I would start slow. They have a lot of bells and whistles that you can purchase, but it's easier to grow into their product than it is to start large and then move back a little bit. They have some really great basic options that have a lot of tools available, you may not necessarily have to start on their largest package. I like Square and I'm happy to be with them.
