Fastcase vs EndNote: Which is a better fit?

I have been very pleased with Fastcase and I appreciate that there are multiple jurisdictions available for search.

The only negative, is that we don’t have their team working for us.

Fastcase is a high quality product at a great price. It allows me to do quick reliable research.

My first impression of the updated format for research was too complicated and difficult.

A Comprehensive, Cost Effective, and User Friendly Legal Research Program.

My practice is primarily criminal defense. Fastcase gives me what I need in order to prepare for trial and I can always rely on it to be complete and up to date.

Fastcase is a great benefit to my membership in the Illinois State Bar Association and meets most of my legal research needs.

Logging in takes me three steps, because I access it from another site, but otherwise, no gripes.

I appreciate the ability to automatically add Google Scholar citations to my Endnote library. I like the fact that you can browse your library on other machines with Endnote and save it to the cloud.

You have to pay the subscription to use other features of the software.

A simple-to-use citation manager with good integration into Word. I like the different styles you can choose from and the ability to store PDFs with each citation.

It remains among the most difficult of tasks for me.

I love the idea of the ratings feature because I know there are many sources I may read but which may not be neccessary, and the ability to rate them is very important to know what to look for later.

Most of the work needs to be done manually which is very cumbersome. The placement of the reference section is not sometimes correct and makes it difficult to change afterwards in the final draft.

I like it that after having the paper source, I can cite it easily in any fil that I want. The best thing is that every detail of the paper is on it and I don't need to add information manually.

This software could just put all the various libraries together and avoid the hustle of getting to individual libraries to get an article.
