The ability to take and add photos for specific sample locations is amazing. Also love the mapping tool and calendar.
It was REALLY frustrating that the pictures taken with the device weren't geotagged in the exit data of the pictures themselves.
GPS location is awesome for photos etc. and makes for very easy report writing. The ability to work offline and sync at a later time is very useful.
In my example, some concepts are difficult to explain over the phone.

Also, depending on whether the app was accessed on a desktop or iPad-type device, the crossover between platforms was difficult to navigate.
