Mass notifications, mass alerting, desktop alerting, company communication, lockdown and emergency alerts - across multiple platforms/locations.
Not only is the product so easy and helpful, the culture of AlertMedia and their team is fantastic. We are so happy with them.
The only downside is the survey can only be a yes no answer format.
We have realized tremendous value in taking care of our employees and their families. They know we sincerely care and have invested in their safety.
I dislike that I can't find more ways to use it in my daily workload.
Our company was looking for a solution that was a good value, easy to use, a great mobile app and something that had templates. AlertMedia delivers on all these areas.
Out of the box, this tool is used to for identifying and reacting to threats for office or remote employees.
This tool offers great integration through the API toolkit and offers great reporting. The customer service is also very good.
Alert employees in a timely manner of natural disaster, COVID19 updates, City/State information.
The ease of use and simplicity of the interface are my top "pros. It was also relatively easy to set up from an administrative standpoint and integrates well with other NetSupport products.
Instead of calling around to each department, we can now send a message out when we are going to conduct a fire drill or restart a server.
The ease of use is what drew us to the notify. When you start up notify you select the options you'd like type your message and select the computers you want to receive it and off it goes.
No working/notification of message character limit - we have created messages and sent them to then only see that the entire message is not displayed.
The control you have... just overall. It's awesome to be able to see everyone's screen, lock down certain things, push things to them, etc.
We are running into some issues with NSS v11.2 and McAfee anti virus. It appears that some of the dlls are not signed.
Low resource demands, easily integrate into Active Directory. Great tool for getting important notifications right in front of staff when you need to.
Sometimes the updates make things difficult. We have had to use work arounds in the past until the developers pushed out and update to fix them.
Kyle: Hi, I'm Kyle. I work for a large technology company that does voice recognition for various technologies. I'm a manager of application support, and I give AlertMedia a five out of five. When we were looking at different solutions to be able to manage our outbound communication with customers we considered various products, one of which was Salesforce Marketing Cloud. When we tried the product, it did not fit our needs. We found it to be cumbersome and we had issues with it scaling to meet the needs of our business and for the users that are actually using the product to send a communication. The reason we chose AlertMedia is because we found the tool to be intuitive. It was very easy to use. It was scalable, and we were able to customize it to fit our needs and how we wanted to send our communication. It's fast and the customer support that we received from the team allowed us to get all of the interesting and useful features that we needed to have implemented prioritized by the company. Getting started with AlertMedia was really easy. We were able to connect with one of the account team members from the start. He was able to walk us through what the product could do, and he was able to take the use cases that we had for the product and demo it for us so that we could see how it would work in a real environment. It was very easy to work with all of the team members from the starting point when we worked through the account team, as well as through the implementation phase as well. So for anyone considering AlertMedia, my recommendation is to reach out to the company, to one of the account team members, and really explore the use cases of the product. For us, we were able to use it in a way that the product wasn't originally designed for, and it actually really over-met the needs that we had. But it has really great features and tool sets that you'll be able to use for a variety of purposes, whether it's for communication with your customers, alerting your internal employees if there's an incident regarding any kind of danger that might be happening within your organization. There's a lot of different use cases, but I really encourage you to meet with one of those account team members and talk to them about the ways that it can fit the needs of your company.
