Shift was designed for anyone who spends the majority of their day online.
Perfect for Professional Services (Digital Marketing, Advertising, IT Companies, Consulting) and for Service areas in companies (Service Centers, Marketing Departments, IT Departments, Controllers)
Overall we're very happy with Shift and I can't see myself not using it. It's a simple but effective tool to consolidate your desktop and make you extremely focused on the important things.
I have already blocked from my mind how awful it was to log in and out of software all the time in a regular browser.
I love the Gmail integration, I love how easy it is to get to my Google calender, Google Drive and gmail all from the same tab.
I do not see this problem on the Mac side at all where I can leave it open all the time and never have the same problem.
I love having all of my email accounts and frequently used web apps in one client. It has a clean, attractive design, and it performs well.
My sole frustration with the software is the lack of expediency in addressing bugs.
I love that you can have multiples of the same app saved on the sidebar for multiple accounts.
Terrible service and a product that basically does the opposite of what it's supposed to.
I like to see the constant improvements and updates, the really good support they offer and the learning opportunities we can have through the webinars and the blog feed.
It is really hard to maintain track of who is with each task, the calendar interface is really awkward and hard.
Excellent software for progress management and task and project billing.
The bad part about runrun.it is that you have to spend sometime watching the tutorials before actually use the software.
I really like the interactivity in real time inside the software. It works like a corporate Facebook where everyone can keep up with what the coworker is doing.
I miss a way to have recurring, ongoing tasks related to repetitive processes and routines in the same page, but in different areas from the tasks specially related to a project.
My experience with Runrun.it, after learning how to use, was good.
Sometimes the plugins or features don't work properly. Timer counter stops unexpectedly.
Steven: Hi, my name is Steven. I'm a multimedia specialist for Exit Realty Consultants, and I will give a Shift a rating of four. Before Shift, I was using multiple different web browsers to access different accounts. There's just so many tracking cookies that were keeping people's passwords and information. And coordinating with the admin, using the front desk computers, which is becoming too much of a burden when everyone was signing each other out of what they needed and no one was remembering how to access or what they were working on the previous day. So we switched over to Shift. So Shift was our first program. I chose Shift because it had a very friendly user interface. I felt like my team could pick it up really fast. I liked that it grouped the storage, whether it was Microsoft Office 365, or if it was Google, like Gmail, it grouped all of those components together and it made it really accessible for my team. Getting started with Shift was really easy, I would say. I don't think there was any issues. And it's really great because you can design it the way you want it, like sort it from most important programs to least important, or maybe you want to group them depending on what area of the company they reside in. So it is very easy and also very customizable. I would say it's a no-brainer to at least try it because there is a free version, just to see if it works for you. I've definitely seen a massive improvement in productivity when people utilize workspace softwares such as Shift. So what have you got to lose when it's free? Just try it out.
