Easy to integrate and highly scalable, it's the perfect solution for small and medium organizations from all industries (warehouses, local authorities and hospitals, schools, retail stores...).
All Enterprises
I'm in the IT industry and if wanting to expand into the US, would recommend sales and tech responding during US business time zone hours. Still very happy with the product so far.
There are settings to prevent location services from being disabled on devices however, there is no setting to force enable them in the first place so it must be done manually.
It's easy to use and it allows to control a lot of devices in the easiest way, saving a lot of time. The assistance team was fantastic.
App deployment and updates through the Google Playstore are tidous, with alot of potential for errors. Policys are sometimes not compliant after changes and take awhile to update.
Easy to sign up and deploy, amazing customer support.
We use it for big size Congresses and it works great every time.
I love how they trust that their product and the support during the trial edition will sell it. They also engage regularly to make sure you are happy and if you have any questions.
When patches fail there isn't always details on why, just that it failed.
Customer Service is truly amazing they'll get to you in less than a minute which is awesome and this product is absolutely recommended.
Because of that may be you have to consider your price list per a country. Otherwise you may loose your current customers because of high usd / tl rate currency.
Great Customer support - their technicians are very knowledgeable. Remote Management - tools are reliable and robust.
Upon some tasks they will show failure or a pending action, however they do not then update those status in the queue.
Alot of useful feature however which we take advantage off for larger deployment. Customer support is excellent and always has a solution of some sort for me.
It takes a while to get your head around how updates are applied - it is quite 'batchy. The MDM UI is sometimes a bit confusing.
Giridhar P.: My name is Giridhar. I work as manager, data engineering. And I give ManageEngine for Desktop Central a review of four out of five stars. For more details, please click below. Before we went with ManageEngine for Desktop Central, the organization was operating all of their client workstations on a stand-alone mode. So all of the service pack installations, and the patch installations and stuff were done on a standalone basis on the individual workstations. And it was not only time consuming, but also gave a very tough time for maintenance aspects, as well, which was the core reason why we had to choose for a centralized node of installations. And that's when we hand-picked ManageEngine for Desktop Central. When we were piloting the tools that were needed for maintenance of all of the software installations from one node and zone, we figured out that ManageEngine for Desktop Central not only supported laptops and workstations, but also devices like phones, from a remote location. So that was the key factor why we had to rely on ManageEngine for Desktop Central. So from a corporate front, there were different employees who were required to be outside of work for the marketing aspects and for promoting the products that we were involved with, so it was vital that all the patch installations and the service pack installations not only happened on laptops, but also on cell phones. So we wanted to rely on a tool that was not only going to act as a centralized repository to service the installation point for all of these devices, but also that could support multiple platforms. So, after we chose ManageEngine for Desktop Central, we were not disappointed in any way. It served all of our objective and coordinates to its utmost [inaudible 00:02:13]. So the ManageEngine for Desktop Central was relatively easy to get started with. So the administrative aspects of the tool to get installed on the noted server was relatively straightforward. There were a lot of documentations that were available on their website, as well as on Google search, that assisted with ensuring that the key software executables were installed on the main server. So even though there were certain challenges that we faced in terms of identifying the right ones, we were always able to find the answers on Google and on the website associated with ManageEngine for Desktop Central. So, in a nutshell, it was a great experience overall figuring out what necessities were, but on an overall front it was self explanatory and it served our purpose [inaudible 00:03:12]. So I would definitely say if you are any small-scale or medium-to-high scale organization having at least about 50 employees, and if you want to make sure that all of the service installations and the software patches that are needed, that needs to be in sync, definitely ManageEngine for Desktop Central is your option, because it gives you an option to ensure that all of these core installations take place in unison and in a synchronized way. There's absolutely zero discrepancy when it comes to the version of the software that you're looking for, or the service pack that you're looking for, including the patch. And it has pretty stiff, I would say, mechanism to protect itself from the routine vulnerabilities that could target your system. So I would say if you're an organization that has at least 20, or more, employees that require a common form of workstations and phones to offer support for any type of client, then ManageEngine for Desktop Central should be your first choice.
