Overall it has been a very positive experience, device management is simple, configuration for virtually everything is at my fingertips. Ease of use is very high, it's not difficult to jump right into most of the admin side of things with EC.

Pros

Hard to say, if I could choose more than one, it would be software deployment / patch management. Customer support is quick, and often very helpful as well.

Cons

I would say one thing that stands out is the lack of the option to allow certain users to edit custom reports by admins.

Very happy with the products we are using (Endpoint Central, Service Desk & PAM360), and especially the support from Channel-IT

Pros

A significant number of core functions for ICT Management under one platform has assisted our team greatly!

Cons

A complete dashboard where we can have an overview of all ManageEngine products under our account would be extremely helpful. Simplification in various fields is required. Also, the UI needs an update!

In a business where you have hundreds of devices to manage, this product makes an IT engineers life a whole lot easier with having everything in one place and be able to automate several processes

Pros

The patch management features make the job a lot easier, its also very helpful for keeping track of zero day patches and vulnerabilities.

Cons

The lack of options available for the OS deployments, I think there needs to be more options available to apply config/scripts during the provisioning phase. Static changes can be implemented via the master image but have options available in the console, makes changing config much easier.

My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been positive. It has helped streamline endpoint management, improve patch compliance, and reduce support response times. While there are some areas that could be improved, particularly around reporting flexibility and interface simplicity, the platform delivers a strong combination of functionality, automation, and value. For organizations looking for a comprehensive endpoint management solution without the cost of some larger enterprise alternatives, Endpoint Central is a solid choice.

Pros

Excellent patch management for operating systems and third-party applications. Easy software deployment and automated application updates. Reliable remote troubleshooting and support capabilities. Comprehensive asset and inventory management. Strong automation features that reduce repetitive administrative tasks. Supports Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile device management. Flexible deployment options with both cloud and on-premises versions. Good value compared to many competing endpoint management solutions.

Cons

Initial setup and configuration can be time-consuming, especially in larger environments. Some advanced features require a learning curve before administrators can use them effectively. The web console can occasionally feel crowded due to the large number of available features. Certain reports require additional customization to meet specific business requirements. Performance may slow slightly when managing very large endpoint environments without proper infrastructure sizing.

My overall experience with ManageEngine Endpoint Central has been largely positive. It is a robust and comprehensive tool that simplifies endpoint management by bringing multiple functions—such as patching, software deployment, remote support, and asset management—into a single platform. The automation features save significant time and help maintain system compliance efficiently. It’s particularly useful in managing large numbers of devices across different locations. However, the experience is slightly impacted by its complex setup process and a user interface that could be more intuitive. Despite this, once you become familiar with the system, it proves to be a powerful and reliable solution for enterprise IT management.

Pros

What I liked most about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is its all‑in‑one approach to endpoint management. It combines patch management, software deployment, remote troubleshooting, asset tracking, and security enforcement in a single, easy‑to-use console. The automation capabilities significantly reduce manual work, especially for patching and updates. Its remote desktop feature is fast and reliable, making support tasks efficient. I also appreciate the clear reporting and customization options, which help in monitoring compliance and system health. Overall, it simplifies IT administration, saves time, and enhances control over endpoints in both small and large enterprise environments.

Cons

What I liked least about ManageEngine Endpoint Central is that its interface can sometimes feel cluttered and less intuitive, especially for new users. Certain features require multiple navigation steps, which can slow down workflows. The initial setup and configuration can also be complex, particularly in larger environments. Additionally, reporting, while useful, can lack flexibility in deeper customization. Performance may occasionally lag when handling large‑scale deployments, and troubleshooting certain errors is not always straightforward. Overall, while powerful, it has a learning curve and could benefit from a more streamlined user experience and improved responsiveness.

The application itself is outstanding. My managers and directors are extremely impressed with it and have embraced it wholeheartedly. Personally, it is difficult to find the right words to describe the positive impact ManageEngine has had on our organization in such a short period of time. As someone who joined the organization only recently, I have seen a remarkable transformation in the way IT assets, endpoints, and support activities are managed. The visibility, control, and efficiency that the platform provides have exceeded our expectations. To everyone in the organization, it feels like this is the solution we have been searching for all along. ManageEngine has not only simplified IT management but has also given management confidence that our IT environment is secure, well-managed, and aligned with business needs.

Pros

Manage Engine has made my job easier by enabling centralized management of all PCs across the organization. As the sole IT Technician, I can efficiently support users at Head Office and remote sites from a single platform.

Cons

The Network Discovery training was somewhat confusing compared to what I was initially taught by the instructor. I was informed that if a single PC within a site had the ManageEngine agent installed, it could be used to discover other devices on the network. However, it was not clearly explained that additional configuration, such as a Group Policy Object (GPO), would be required for successful network-wide discovery. I would encourage ManageEngine to review this topic with its instructors and training team to ensure that the requirements and prerequisites for Network Discovery are explained more clearly during training sessions. This would help new administrators better understand the deployment process and avoid confusion during implementation.

Cross-platform support — manages Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices from a unified platform. Good value for money — often viewed as offering broad functionality at a competitive price compared with some enterprise alternatives. Automation — routine IT tasks can be scheduled and automated, reducing manual work.

Pros

Centralized management — patch management, software deployment, asset management, remote troubleshooting, and compliance tasks are handled from one dashboard.

Cons

Remote support capabilities — administrators can troubleshoot endpoints without needing physical access.
