Multi-channel internal communication & collaboration platform that helps large enterprises manage private/group chatting, share documents, videos/audio, or links and maintain contact directories.
Blink is the award-winning super-app that gives your teams instant access to everything (and everyone) they need. We help organizations enable, engage, and understand their entire workforce.
I like that i can reach easily all employees and communicate with them. I like numerous of stickers and smiles and ability to make group chats.
The scroll in chats often moved so very quickly that questions and responses were missed. Inability to customize responses such as color, fonts, etc.
I love the ability to create customer emojis which my office lovingly partakes in. It allows us to work efficiently and quietly, while being able to communicate seamlessly between departments.
A little expensive if they had an inexpensive community version I would gladly contribute some money to them. As it is am forced to use without contributing due to a high barrier to entry.
Ease of use, ability to find and join group chats. I really like that every one can add a picture, it's nice to see who you are talking with.
Only chat available you will need another tools for meetings. Bad integration with gnome desktop.
The interface is nice, real-time messaging is successful, the biggest plus is that it can be used internally.
Since one of the more recent versions, they've altered a couple of shortcuts. One of these means I can no longer type an @-sign, making mentioning people rather difficult.
I like how it doesn't confine, I'm able to integrate it with day to day work flows and interact fluidly with those both in and outside my organisation. Professional, modern, fun and effective.
One of the biggest barriers in our line of work, and from team to team within our organization, is a lack of communication, which can lead to assumptions.
I like the News Feed feature and the ability to share kudos, important company messages, etc.
Lack of integration with gtools suite (email/agenda) in both direction.
We use Blink to store our policies so that all staff have access to them - this is very easy to use and we can easily direct staff to the appropriate place. Overall experience is really good.
Every time you hit the return button on the PC it sends that as a blink when actually it might be you starting a new paragraph. Other than this minor issue I don't have anything too negative to say.
The speed that it performs without fail is amazing and the constant improvements to functionality are great.
No comment to make at this time as I am a new user.
Emily L.: I'm Emily, Director of Investor Relations, and I give Mattermost a three out of five. For more reviews like this, you can click below. At my company, we use Mattermost as a collaboration tool both internally amongst different sorts of teams to be able to keep each other up to and have really immediate communication with one another, and then also externally with some of the accelerator companies that we work with and other things that we're involved in to be able to send messages and announcements so that everybody can know what we're up to. What I like most about Mattermost is that it provides the ability to either contact a team member individually or as a group. So it's really simple to be able to identify who you want to speak with. You can tag people in different things. There's different channels that you can join. So there's a lot of different ways that we can collaborate with one another. What I don't like about Mattermost is the phone application. While it works really well on the web, on the phone I have this weird issue where I'll get a notification that somebody tagged me or pinged me in a message, but when I try to access the application, it's unable to load.
Allie C.: Hello, my name is Allie, and I'm the HR generalist at Assisting Hands Home Care, and I give Blink a five-star rating. Some of the business problems that we are solving here on Blink are communication with our caregivers. It's a lot easier to be able to communicate anything, any announcements, any polls that we might have to get some customer feedback, and we also really appreciate the community that Blink brings to our community. So the thing I love most about Blink is the ability to talk with our caregivers outside of work. Because we are doing home care, and we're in houses, we don't often get to see each other, and so it really brings us together to be able to share posts, quotes, inspiration throughout the week, and keep us all united. I actually don't have anything bad to say about Blink. I would say the thing I like the least would be how long it takes to open the app sometimes, but usually, once it loads, it's fine.
