It is fantastic and going great. I really appreciate IDrive for providing such a platform with robust, secure, large cloud storage.
After a synced computer crashed and wiped the local hard drive, the synced documents were all lost. The cloud version either hadn't synced or had lost the files when the local PC crashed.
I had a great experience with customer service and their website is really user friendly which was important to me as I'm new to backups.
Occassionally the backups fail with the software reporting it cannot find certain files as they are missing. That is a bug because they have been intentionally deleted.
The 24/7 customer support is responsive and helpful, always ready to assist with any issues. Overall, iDrive Cloud Backup is a reliable, efficient, and secure choice for all your data backup needs.
Idrive states that it is compatible with Linux. It is, however, there is no program to install, only a series of Perl scripts.
What impressed me the most about iDrive is its seamless and reliable backup system that effortlessly safeguards my valuable files across all my devices.
Confusing accounts, not very smart client software.
It is very good as it provides strong privacy features. It supports an unlimited number of computers per count.
Yet when we've had to enact a backup due to hardware failure on users machines - Groups often got stuck in the syndication process and endlessly looped itself.
The fact it stores my data safely and accurately is the most attractive quality I can give to SpiderOak.
I have no negative feedback about spideroak groups.
The excellent privacy features help make this a premier backup service for businesses.
When it has worked, it's taken a painfully long time. Deployment isn't even standardized as they've changed the software version without rolling out notices to current users or admins.
The value for money aspect was the best for SpiderOak One a couple of years ago: I was able to secure a promo offer for unlimited cloud spacefor just 149 USD/yr.
And if you choose the minimum plan, it's only a matter of time before it backs up useless items that you don't need backup.
Sandy: Hi. My name is Sandy, and I am a CEO and I give IDrive a five. For more reviews like this, see below. I have used so many other backup drives and either they were too difficult to use, the customer service was really, really lacking. They need support just to get me to download files. It was very difficult. Poor customer service, even when I did finally get through to somebody. Getting to my files was an act of, I don't know, is really challenging. So I had a change and moved to IDrive. I chose IDrive because it gave me the capability of not only just backing up my computer and my C Drive, but I have four external drives. I have Dropbox. I have so many other external companies that I've been using that now I have been pulling it all into IDrive. I can access my files, I can see where the duplicates are and go in and change them. I can search for any file I want. I can either download it or see exactly the stream of which drive it's on and exactly where it's at, so I can find it so easily and then access it and use it or download it if I am somewhere and I need it and I'm not at my computer. So I can get to it from anywhere. I love it. It's like I'm consolidating all of my drives into IDrive and I use it daily to find where my duplicates are so I can de-dupe. To find out where the projects are that I need to work on and even duplicate or triplicate projects that need to be merged. It's fantastic. I use it every day and all day. As a solopreneur and a CEO, I literally have tried so many different backup drives and so many different programs, and IDrive was so easy. I got on the site, I downloaded the drive. It was there, and then I was able to drag everything onto it, and it worked perfectly. It's amazing. I really recommend it. If you are thinking about using IDrive, I really recommend it. Why? Because it's easy. You can actually even hand it over to an assistant and they can take care of it. It'll take all of the muss and fuss out of trying to find out where all of your files are, where any important data is, and it's all in one place. Being able to consolidate all of your information, all of your data, and put it into one place instead of having it scattered everywhere is such a bonus and it's easy. The customer service has been great and it works really, really well. I really recommend it.
