Sales teams of all sizes, startups, lead generation agencies, entrepreneurs, and founders use lemlist to grow profitable businesses and increase revenue.
Designed for businesses of all types and sizes, it is a cloud-based email marketing solution that assists with creating custom professional email addresses, sending bulk emails, and more.
Lemlist has some awesome features like customized images/memes, personalization, workflows/follow-up, lead segmentation, and super good with deliverability. It also has a stellar UI and easy to use.
Poor UI - A lot of the features are clunky and have to be figured out on your own.
I've been very impressed with Lemlist and the team behind it. It's an excellent tool that just keeps getting better and better.
Poor customer service, UI clunky and unintuitive.
Having customized emails is incredibly important. Having sequences with the ability to add customized photos is awesome.
The fee for their basic version is now $49/person, not $29. Poor customer service - However, I've had several experiences with the customer service that were not ideal.
I love all of the features that allow you to customize pictures and videos for the customers. Epic idea and great execution.
The only thing about this software which was not to rate five stars was the design (UI). Used light-grey and white elements were sometimes hard to find.
I have great options to take good experiences with Gmail. We created organisational email addresses via Gmail and It's really helpful for our organisational works.
I dislike how hard it is to find my spam folder - I also dislike how many emerald end up in my spam folder.
I like this platform much better than Microsoft Outlook; this software's integration with the multiple offerings of Google allow for great ease of use and admin implementation.
The only con I have is that at times emails can get lost or put in the spam folder and they shouldn't have been. So you have to go look for the email which can take time out of your busy day.
I also love that Gmail is liked to my google classroom because I get an email when a student turns in work and it helps me to be more time-efficient with grading.
Logging in and out can be a bit painfully trouble Some and the delays can be frustrating depends I assume on your connection speed but not sure.
Great email platform as you can categorize emails into folders so it is easier to keep you email clean and organized. The follow up prompt is great as well when you receive so many emails in a day.
There is nothing that I really don't like about Gmail specifically. I hate receiving emails in my Spam folder but that is not a Gmail problem.
Bryce M.: Hi, I'm Bryce. I'm a Chief Marketing officer. My rating for Lemlist is three stars. For more reviews, click below. The platforms I was using before Lemlist were Reply.io, ZoomInfo Engage, and Apollo.io. It's not so much that they weren't as strong, but they were certainly more costly. Reply.io in specific was considerably weaker just because it didn't have as many of the robust features to sort of draw somebody in on an email sequencing platform as I found that Lemlist had. Also their support, I didn't feel was as good, especially for someone who might be a new user on the platform. I chose Lemlist mainly because of their marketing. They did a really good job in presenting it as a good entry level platform, but also looked like it was one that would be really easy to manage for the same reason. I send out a lot of cold email and I sent it out from multiple different seats or different email addresses. And that was something I was looking for, something that wasn't going to be too complicated or difficult for me to do for multiple different email addresses, and yet at the same time provide something robust that was going to have a lot of different features. It looked like Lemlist had a ton of features. So, that's why I originally chose it. Lemlist was pretty easy to get started with it. Certainly they had really good tutorials on how to use their platform and interact with their interface specifically. It was different, I will say that it wasn't as intuitive as I hoped it would be to figure things out. But as I said, their support was great. They were very active, very effective, they were immediately, you could talk to them on the chat function and they would immediately respond and work their best to help you with whatever problems you're running into. The reason I give it a three star rating is mostly in regard to there was a lot of tools that were great tools, but just not very conducive to sending cold email. Like for instance, a lot of interaction having to do with using their links, with using their custom landing pages, embedding custom image text, and that sort of thing. But when you're sending cold email to people who've never heard from you before, which is, I would assume the purpose, because it is sequenced email or maybe people that just aren't using the email address you're used to sending from, they don't have it in their address book. Many of these features you end up reducing your deliverability. So, there was a lot of features that were there for potential use, but not for my particular purposes as a cold email marketing officer that does a lot of agency work for other potential users or other potential clients. I would suggest using the platform if you're very new to the concept of cold emailing and sequencing emails, to a list of people you haven't reached out to before. If it's something where you have a number of people that you're already in their address book and you've sent them newsletters or they in some way already know that you exist, they know and they have your email address saved, Lemlist is great. Use all of the steps full, just go ahead and unload everything that's available there. And you should definitely go through the tutorials because a lot of great stuff for people that are new to the field. If you're an agency and you're looking for how can you capitalize on sending out a large amount of email, a couple a hundred a day, a thousand a day, something along those lines, Lemlist is going to be far too expensive for you, and it's going to be too clunky and too difficult. You're better off going with a more robust platform that offers less features, but is way more specialized in what they do.
Kayla B.: My name's Kayla. I'm a communication and speech coach and a solopreneur, and I give Gmail a rating of five out of five. Before using Gmail, I used Yahoo Mail, which was a much messier experience, from a business perspective. And I had a lot of issues with spam, people not receiving my messages, and my business emails weren't perceived or taken as seriously, which is why I made this shift eventually over to Gmail. Gmail was super easy to categorize and label different sections of groups that I have to communicate with. I have a lot of recurring coaching clients that go into specific tabs or labels, so it's very easy to communicate with them very quickly and efficiently. I also find just the user-friendliness of Gmail is much, much easier, and it's very neat. I was very distracted by Yahoo Mail visually, with a lot of the things that would pop up on the screen. And with Gmail, I never get distracted or off-focus. Gmail was very easy to get started with, but it probably wasn't until a couple of years after using Gmail that I realized there were a lot more settings that I could take advantage of. So, after playing a little bit more with some more advanced settings, I was able to take a lot more advantage of more services that Gmail offers. I would recommend watching a couple of YouTube videos about the best recommendations you could do with Gmail for your business and see some of the other hacks that other entrepreneurs have used to make their Gmail much more organized and to create a very professional look within their emails, especially within their signatures. That was very helpful for me.
