Certent Equity Management vs Ledgy: Which is a better fit?

I am very pleased with the product and value of the software, it is built to handle corporations much larger and complex than us, but it is still user friendly to our needs, and is still affordable.

Sometime there are accounting differences or errors generated in reports that are difficult to discover until something goes wrong.

The reporting is excellent and it is very easy software to work with. The customer support is accessible and the response time is good.

We tried to set up the Section 16 module, but with our company having some legacy plans before we spun from our parent, it was becoming too difficult and too costly to properly pull in that data.

Certent is great to help me understand my equity grants. It, very clearly, lists out my grants and any relevant information.

Unable to upload change in control RSUs due to no determine vesting date and do not wish to use a future date.

The customer service team is also great to work with, they are very knowledgeable about all types of awards and are timely on their responses.

Reconciling from our old system to the new system was a pain point, but this is mostly due to the lack of functionality in our old system.

Ledgy offers a fantastic cap table management solution. The Customer Success team did a great job in helping us get up to speed and answering all our requests while setting up the tool initially.

Some features still missing, but it's a young product and company, so they'll add those eventually.

Implementation was very fast and support from Ledgy was always outstanding. Our employees love the tool as well to see the development of their shares.

In the beginning it takes some effort to implement all the historic data which can lead to some difficulties.

Share-, Option-, generally the whole stakeholder Management is substentially simplified, super efficient and even makes fun.

The tool provides vc firms with a great overview of their portfolio. You immediately see what your stake at a company is, what kind of shares you have, how much money you invested and so on.
