Dovetail vs Centercode: Which is a better fit?

Ease of use, transcription and strong collaborative tools, tagging and highlighting is effortless. I like that i can visualise the future worth of the documentation done today.

Unfortunately, there is no auto-tagging and so a lot of time is wasted manually going in having to search. This becomes a lot of work when you are dealing with many surveys or long interviews.

Great customer service, they've been quick to help us with anything and their roadmap looks great and they also seem to be pretty quick at turning around new features.

It was hard to justify over airtable. The pricing is a bit unclear and I assumed it was 1/5th the actual price because they force you to buy many seats (no matter how small your team is).

I like the search feature most, it is great to have the ability to search in different folders at the same time across different projects. The design is simple, very intuitive and feels solid.

I hate that there's only a bar graph for viewing the results. I would really want more variety on the types of charts, and maybe also add more analysis tools.

This will cut down on the time it takes for setting up a new project.

First, and foremost, the embedded customer service feature is fantastic. I also appreciate the ability to customize welcome message (HTML capable), and email templates.

The import process is cumbersome, and does not work well with large amounts of data.

The efficiency of Centercode is fantastic. Once people experienced it, they recognize the efficiency and great tools and options and love to make use of it.

Its very hard to find features/settings in a project.

Their online guides + educational materials available online a superb and super helpful.

I see this as the biggest limitation with the tool.

It's very easy for admins (like myself), team members, and external customers to use. The email integration and automatic update notifications is extremely powerful and useful.

Many features are difficult to find and use, and don't seem to be intuitively organized. For example, all features relating to sending emails to participants should be in one place.
