Lack of flexibility, fairly poor support. No choice of other software from Sage with more flexability.
Sage is very user friendly and offers all of the options required to operate a small business. The insights provided are excellent and flexibility available is more than adequate.
Our files get corrupted constantly and they blame it on the cloud computing. We have corruptions that no one at sage knows how to fix and they don't continue to fix it.

The Graphic User Interface is friendly easy to use especially for a new user. The New Company Wizard does a very good job in anticipating almost all possible accounts in the charts of account.

The biggest downfall of QBO is that it is very different from QBD and has a learning curve. If the users do not learn how to propertly use QBO, they can mess up the companies books BAD.

No 'undo' button and not excessively intuitive. If you make a mistake, have to know how to reverse/correct it.

I use Sage for recording all of my daily transactions. Funny as it might seem, a lot of these little guys kind of slip away, you forget about them. But, with Sage, I never forget. As long as I keep up to date on a daily basis, I'm there. I'm with Sage. I enjoy Sage because I can easily input all the transactions that are relevant to my business and the accounts, and it's a one-click shop. It's easy. It's direct. I can get amendments. I can do anything I want. It's fantastic. I love Sage. My only comments in terms of negativity about Sage would be on payroll. I've found it difficult to disconnect a two-week payroll from a monthly payroll when they've been the same clients. Apart from that, I honestly can't think of anything. I guess that's kind of a technical thing, but that has been a problem.
Speaker 1: My name is Alex. I'm the COO for Made By WiFi. We're a boutique IT firm based out of New York City with under 10 employees. I would rate QuickBooks Online a 5/5. I use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping, invoice management, accounts receivables, payment processing, as well as the reporting capabilities which are very rich. I like how easy it was to pick up and learn. I've never used QuickBooks before. We were managing our company's finances through Google Sheets prior to QBO. The learning curve was basically a day, we got it all figured out. It's very easy to navigate and it's very easy to find what you need as well as streamline financial operations. Just making it easier to get paid, essentially. I'd like to see more consistent monthly billing from QBO. I feel like our monthly billing increased almost by 50% since we signed up without really getting more features. I'm not sure how quickly or why they raised their prices so aggressively, but they have, and I wish there was just more of a locked-in rate for a period of time that we could have agreed to.
