Sage 50cloud Accounting vs Shoeboxed: Which is a better fit?

Jonathan H.: Hi there. My name is Jonathan. I'm a tax consultant. I run and own my own business. My experience of Sage, I give it a four out of five stars. It's fantastic. I love the product. I use Sage for recording all of my daily transactions. Funny as it might seem, a lot of these little guys kind of slip away, you forget about them. But, with Sage, I never forget. As long as I keep up to date on a daily basis, I'm there. I'm with Sage. I enjoy Sage because I can easily input all the transactions that are relevant to my business and the accounts, and it's a one-click shop. It's easy. It's direct. I can get amendments. I can do anything I want. It's fantastic. I love Sage. My only comments in terms of negativity about Sage would be on payroll. I've found it difficult to disconnect a two-week payroll from a monthly payroll when they've been the same clients. Apart from that, I honestly can't think of anything. I guess that's kind of a technical thing, but that has been a problem.

It's safe. It's secure. And I am not having stacks of papers that I have to go through when I, again, need to turn in a receipt to work, when I need to turn in a receipt to the taxman, or anything. I'm not struggling, and I have reduced the clutter of all of these receipts that just pile up. Shoeboxed is really simple to integrate into your business. Simply download the app and really just create your account, and off you go. You could use it for different... If you have like a large office, certainly you have other employees that can use it as well. I have a small business, so for me, it's just myself. But it's applicable to different sizes of businesses. And that's also the great perk about it. Your employees are not having to worry about keeping up with receipts, sending them in to you, and then them piling up and wondering, "Did I turn that receipt in or not?" You've got a record of it. If you're thinking about ways to really organize your office, your employees, your life, I really recommend taking a look into the Shoeboxed app. It's perfect for any size of business, be it a small business or a large business.
