There was JustInMind, Sketch, Adobe XD, and a few others, but Figma was a genuine breath of fresh air. I have no plans of switching platforms again, and I know they will continue releasing even more useful features and improvements. Pros From a product management standpoint, it provides us our one-source-of-truth for all of our product designs, and it still gives me the freedom to experiment with designs and make prototypes. It also helps out our developers in a massive way. They have a very clear vision of what the final product will need to look like. Cons It's difficult to come up with any true downsides to using Figma, but I could mention that you really need to take time to learn the different modes, methods of editing, keyboard shortcuts, and especially how formatting works. I banged my head against the wall several times initially, but its because I attempted to jump right in without doing the homework beforehand.
