VistaCreate vs Adobe Illustrator: Which is a better fit?

Miguel D.: Hi. My name is Miguel. I'm a sales manager from Latin America and we are selling luggage to many countries. I give VistaCreate five out of five. Before using VistaCreate, I used some tools like DesignWizard, which it worked okay at the beginning but they had very old designs, which is not very attractive. Then I also used Canva, but for me it was a lot of information there, too many things. Then I found VistaCreate and we give a try. It's for our team is very simple, very easy to do, very easy to use, but with a lot of nice features and functions. We chose VistaCreate because we have free trial. Then when we explored the platform, it was really clean, very easy to use because many times we need to do things and we are not designers. So, we just want something simple with the great results, and this is what VistaCreate is for us, because whenever we need to remove a background or we need to create an invitation for our newsletter, or even for, we also have a podcast. We create a podcast cover. It was very simple and we can also invite our team members, for our team has been really good choice because, not complex at all, but very good. Many things we can do with it. Okay. To get started with VistaCreate, the first task we had, it was to create an invitation for one event that we were attending. So, it was very quick. We just looked for a template. We just make some changes and after we bring our own pictures, that invitation was looking very good. It took less than probably 30 minutes, and we also have a podcast. The podcast cover was made also in VistaCreate in less than one hour because again, we use the signed templates already there. We just made few changes and adjustments and our cover was really nice. So, for our team was very easy to use. And this save us a lot of time because here we are not designers. Sometimes we need few things, do it quick, like removing backgrounds, make newsletter covers. We write a blog, so sometimes we need some designs for the blog. So, VistaCreate is the perfect tool for this. I really suggest you to go and have a free trial with VistaCreate. The advice I have is that don't expect something really, really complex if you are trying to edit videos or a lot of people is trying to do websites from apps like Canva or something like this. VistaCreate might not be so sophisticated for that, but it's a really great tool for design, for invitations, for PDF, for many things. So, you should really have a try.

Before Illustrator, I was using Paint and it was awful. I am not the best at drawing and I needed help with it. I just felt like, "Oh, my gosh, I'm going to have to spend hours and hours and hours getting better at drawing just to get better at Paint." Then, I discovered Illustrator and all of its quirks and features and greatness. I was like, "Oh, my gosh. I am going to stick with this." With all the problems that I was having with Paint and then the quick things that I needed to make, when I discovered that Adobe Illustrator goes and helps you to create those graphics to look nice, I was like, "Oh, my gosh, this is just a total game changer. It makes my life so much easier." I was just like, "I'm using this for the rest of my life, because this is easy." For me, it was really easy to get started with Adobe Illustrator. I'm really familiar with Photoshop. Illustrator works really similar to Photoshop. It just has a little bit of different tools to help you more purposely with drawing. Photoshop, you end up painting and you play with different levels and different colorations that are in there. You can do those same type of things with Illustrator, it's just Illustrator has really been made to help you with drawing that thing out and getting it to look good, and especially if you're a graphic designer or something like that, it's much better for that than Photoshop is. Yeah, for me, it was easy. There was a small learning curve, but because I already knew Photoshop, it really wasn't too bad. If you're considering Adobe Illustrator and you're doing things like graphic design, a lot of things that are simple to print or that's going to be on the internet, Illustrator is definitely the way to go. It seems to be the industry standard. It's simple to use, especially if you've been used to the Adobe Suite. When you open it up, and if you've been playing with any of the other Adobe programs that are there, it's going to feel familiar. Yes, I would definitely suggest going ahead and getting it over other methods if you're not the greatest illustrator on the planet, because it will definitely help you with all of those things, give you more options than you ever even knew were possible.
