Luma serves various health systems, integrated delivery networks, federally qualified health centers, specialty networks, and clinics, orchestrating the care journeys of multiple patients.
Health care practices including dentists, chiropractors, integrated medical professionals, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and physicians.
There are a lot more positives then negatives. For my money it has been so helpful, it’s like having a dedicated employee for a fraction of the price.
The biggest downside to Luma is the limitations as it relates to scheduling specifics for doctors. There is some (but not a lot) of flexibility.
Overall, Luma has been a huge asset to our practice- their customer service is top notch and we're very happy with them.
Sometimes there are syncing delays which causes problems.
I love the self-automation. It's amazing that you can set perimeters to pretty much every function.
Sometimes the broadcast are difficult to send.
I love that Luma gives us the opportunity to customize the messages that go out to our patients. We have used other software that didn't and this capability is huge for us.
Not having access to patient account numbers and not being able to exclude patients by insurance companies are our major hurdles. It is also a bit pricy and the contract terms are long and inflexible.
I have greatly enjoyed this system especially considering our previous system was a disaster. We are pleased with all the staff we speak with and the help ( while frequent) is always very responsive.
It is offline with every update to the server and when this happens people are really relying on the texts and our missed appointment rate goes to 50.
I love everything about ZingIt but my favorite part is the ability to quickly and efficiently speak with patients and move around their appointment if needed.
When someone opts out through text message that doesn't say stop, I can be a day late removing them and they get a little upset.
And it runs seamlessly in the background without having to dedicated hours of time to it. Patient feedback has been amazing - they love the reminders and subtle automated check-ins.
When the patient replies cancel referring to their appointment, the software opts the patient out of the messaging automatically and it's difficult to opt them back in again.
Ease of use as well as the ability to communicate with patients. In addition the ability to generate positive reviews is great.
For some reason it stopped working with my other software.
