It is nice to have a processing company that accommodates for unique issues attorneys face with trust accounting. The features are helpful and it is easy to use.
You cannot download your monthly statements from the web portal, which is very annoying and makes accounting more difficult. You also cannot sync it with your accounting software.
The customer service is great. They are super responsive and quickly take care of things.
My payment is monthly, and for every transaction, some percent of fee taken out, along with all the card fees charged by the issuer. This can make this service quite expensive to use.
LawPay makes it super easy for us to take card payments. It replaced PayPal, which isn't suited to the kind of accounting we have.
I do not have anything that I dislike about it. I guess if I had to pick something, it would be that I have to call each time I need to make a bank account change.
Best of all, it works seamlessly with Clio, which makes taking payments from clients who are already established with invoicing very easy.

PayPal Checkout is The best ever. I had a wonderful experience with him in storing and transferring money along with very easy online shopping with a very high degree of security.
Then sometimes the charges are little expensive too.
The feature I like most about PayPal Checkout is the security when making transactions. It places me at ease to know my confidential information is being protected when making purchases.
It was quite complicated to set up, and the documentation was a bit confusing.
Overall I love the software and the features & functionality of it & maintaining checkout transactions & receipts, it’s a great way to shop quick, fast & on the go.
We sell dietary supplements and they deem that to be a "risky" industry.
My overall experience has been great. This is my favorite software to use when making online payments.
Also, if you are in any type of industry that they deem is risky, they may just randomly one day freeze your account and hold your money for 6 months.
Curtis: I'm Curtis, I'm an attorney working with startup companies and I give LawPay a four out of five stars. While we were using LawPay, we switched to QuickFee simultaneously, and we were not pleased with the rate of collections and the user experience. So we've since been using LawPay consistently. We use LawPay because it had a good user ranking, it came with the Clio package, and we got an initial free trial to use it and after, we've just been completely satisfied with it. LawPay's been easy to integrate into our practice and easy to add users and to set different permission levels for each user. If you're thinking about using LawPay, think about how use currently bill and how with the ease of use you expect your bills to go out for your clients. Also think about the transaction fees because they are a bit high on LawPay and they don't allow you to do any customer chargeback of any of the credit card fees.
