Azure DevOps Server vs CodeScene: Which is a better fit?

It not only provides comprehensive tools for collaboration between development & operations, but also helps users with great features in test management.

The interface was not the most pleasing. It still had a very dated look, that made the input and managing a little more of a boring task.

Great ticket tracking, with useful properties, all filterable and sortable and able to be made into useful dashboards. I especially like the markdown available on ticket descriptions and wiki.

Inability to preserve external code repositories (GitHub) on site and interface (requires code migration).

This tool is super easy to use with amazing interface and quite customisable. You can manage the overall project lifecycle with this tool and it also helps you create insightful dashboards within ADO.

It can be a bit difficult to use with a lot of people. You need to be very organized.

I love the comprehensive feature set, flexibility, and ability to implement individual pieces at a time for easy transition.

Lots of functionality, a bit difficult to navigate.

This not only improved quality but helped make sure we were focused on the most refactoring value.

If you have not commented your pull requests or check-ins correctly, to be able to trace e.g. defects in certain areas, then it will of course be difficult to make any conclusions.

Opening the tool for the first time was a truly exciting experience, and the more I learned, the more excited and empowered I got.

The highest risks in the code base lead directly to quality problems in production.
