The idea of this program is great, the ease of apps being able to share information will make a step in our process more efficient and effective.
Clients have expressed frustration with the 'view prior year applications' feature. Because of where it's located, they don't always see it and this feature is limited.
The experience with Indio has been wonderful. From the sales team to the implementation team they have been so easy to work with and genuinely helpful.
When insureds fill out apps they still get reminders and get annoyed, emails go to spam a lot.
The Applications are clean and precise and very presentable. Overall, this is a wonderful product to help us prepare for our Account Renewals.
The only way I know of to get around this is setting up multiple accounts which is inconvenient to the agent.
I like the ease of sending new applications to our clients, and how we receive progress notifications every step of the way. We have gotten some great response from our clients as well.

So, prior to using Indio, the commercial insurance application renewal process is really clunky and confusing for both agents and the customer. There's a lot of paper involved. There's a lot of back and forth between my producers and the client asking questions, a lot of redundancy. And so, we were looking for a solution to help us minimize the back and forth and enhance the client experience. So, after booking a demo with Indio and really taking a deep dive into what it is they do exactly, as a person that loves technology and appreciates what it can do in your agency, Indio does a terrific job. So, they automate the application and the renewal process between us agents and the insured. They map a lot of the redundancy and questions between forms. They have digital file signatures. They have the ability to upload documents. They take applications from literally hundreds of carriers across the country. They have their applications in this digital storage area where you can go in, you can find the application that you're looking for. Let's say for general liability, you can fill it out as much as you can yourself. You can send it back over to the client to fill out the rest of it. You can notate it. I can go on and on and on, Indio does a fantastic job of just automating that process, saving us time. I can't imagine ever not having them as part of our agency. Using Indio, it's a complex piece of software. There's definitely a little bit of a learning curve. But like any piece of software, you have to use it. You have to use it. You have to take a deep dive into it and really understand the processes because it can do so much. They have a really terrific onboarding team that will answer any questions that you have, that will walk you through any processes that you're not completely comfortable with. And if you need an application that's not in their database [added 00:02:38], just send it over to them. They'll go ahead and digitize. It usually takes about a couple weeks. They'll digitize it for you and it'll be there. So, just a little bit of a learning curve. Like anything, you got to use it, you got to keep using it but don't let that keep you from using the software. Definitely I can't say it enough, just keep using it and it'll come naturally. It's very intuitive. The recommendations I would have for anybody considering using Indio, just go online, read they have an extensive website, and just book the demo. I can't stress that enough. That's always my go to with any company that we're considering hiring for our agency is book a demo, talk to their team, see if it's a good fit, find out how they can help your agency. And if they can, they're not always a good fit for everybody, but talk to their team, never hurts to have a conversation. But that demo is definitely huge. I know for us, I must have had a demo with them probably three different times just because I really wanted to understand it's a financial commitment and I wanted to make sure it would be a good fit before we brought them into the agency.
