Overall NetBeans is a one of the best solution for java developing. NetBeans interface is easy to understand therefor it is a good choice for a beginner too.
It's not the easiest software to use at times. Some of the error outputs can get confusing with just the sheer number of messages it gives.
It supports more than one language. More inbuild functions help us to write perfect and clean code.
But many functionalities and newer design elements lack. And there was no many major upgrade that completely changed core of product.
This is a great free IDE which has great community support. It works great with WAMP on windows, and the debugger is easy to use.
Unfortunately the changeover to Apache foundation seemed to break something. Now I've been unable to use it proficiently.

Webstorm is very easy to use, it has brilliant features that make coding easier and faster, and the ability to work faster through seamless code debugging. My favourite is the code with me feature.

The best thing I like about this software is that it has a great UI design and is good for web designing.
It is more difficult and appears scary than Visual Studio code. It only has a small selection of colour and file icon themes.

From time to time it is difficult to connect the debugger to newly started Docker containers. It is difficult to connect each newly started container with the debugger.
Excellent plugins, I believe today that it is the best web editor available on the market.
One small disadvantage of the program itself - is it can lag during indexing - which can be annoying. All in all, I still use it in my work and I strongly recommend it for every Dev or QA.
