Presentation solution for all enterprises that helps manage presentations with features such as themes, fonts, embedded video, and animations.
Heavy users of PowerPoint, Excel and Word looking to increase their productivity and easily make presentations consistent with their brand
I think google slides is a great software for creating presentations. It’s free, easy to use, and fun to use.
Hard to fins something to dislike about this, if it HAD to be something it would be the inability to set up a grid on the slide to properly align images.
Google Slides is really an amazing platform that allows you to create beautiful, impactful and inspiring presentations online.
One thing that is frustration is that converting or downloading the presentation to a ppt file sometimes results in loss of quality and/or shifts the design which can be frustrating.
I also like the templates that come with the software. Additionally, it is nice that you can install add-ons to the software to incorporate more complex slides like polls and quizzes.
Also, it works with the availability of the internet services which sometimes can cause a barrier if its unavailable or a poor network provider in a specific area.
THe collaboration features are fantastic. Also the ability to have a URL link that can be shared is also very useful.
The other minor complain is if I create a slide with my personal account by accident, there is no easy way to switch it to my company account, only shortcut.
Poweruser provides helpful and accessible tools without changing the tabs in the office apps. It can also save you time in making quality output by providing templates which are user-friendly.
What I don’t like is that I need to set Malwarebytes off when installing the Power User update, because Malwarebytes sees these updates as a threat and prevent their installation.
The addins are super helpful to complete all daily complex task, like selection of same property shapes, position placement etc.
So far I have not come across a single function that I dislike about this software.
Excellent tool for impressive presentation and business documentation.
Search feature - It is bit hard to find the exact serach you are looking for. So you need to browse through all over the contents, which is time consuming.
I am especially fond of the Library that includes thousands of templates and icons to beautify my slides.
For academic use, cost is minimal for full features, but I am not sure the features would justify the cost for some that do not create PPT presentations often.
Hailey A.: My name's Hailey. I am a one-on-one Chinese tutor throughout school, and I would give Google Slides a five star review. Before using Google Slides, I was using PowerPoint, which works all right. I wasn't very comfortable using it because it has a lot of features, but I also didn't like how much space it took up on my computer, and Google Slides fixed that. I just save it in the Cloud. I chose Google Slides because mainly it's a big name. I am familiar with Google, and I trust Google. And I liked the slides, so I didn't have any reason to change. Bringing Google Slides into my business was a pretty easy transition. It took more time at the beginning when I was creating all kinds of new slides, but since then, I've been able to copy the file, copy the slides, and change when I need to with each lesson. So it's been really efficient. Advice I would give to someone who is thinking about bringing Google Slides into their business would be try it out, to try out all the features. If you are wondering if Google Slides can give you a feature that you're looking for, google it. You will find the answer, and more likely than not, you will be able to access that feature.
