Jane's ability to add both email & text reminder options (WITHOUT added fees for text reminders!!!!) & set things up so the patient's could select the options that work best for them was a godsend.
I am not sure there is anything that I dislike at this time.
I love that the Jane app is both very "powerful" but also so reliable. This has revolutionized running my massage therapy practice.
Inability to customize of a few financial reports.
From both a legal health care provider chart documentation standpoint, AND a business standpoint, Jane App Is SUPER user friendly and just over all awesome.
Another missing element is that you can't list your expenses, only the income.
Love the support when initially setting this up and all the help along the way when needed. The team at Jane responds quickly and they are so helpful.
The downside of trying to be a system for everyone means that at some point it might become too difficult to use, or difficult to learn, especially as Jane becomes popular in other countries.
I really like the batch printing is nice to use for patients that I have to send weekly progress notes to insurance companies. Customer service support is very helpful when we need them.
You have to basically create 3 separate notes when performing a more exhaustive evaluation instead of it all being on one form. Does add time and burden to documentation.
It gives good value to any documentation with great final documents created that are easy to read and understand.
Some times we have problems regarding how slow the system gets at times.
ReDoc has made us more efficient in providing excellent patient care and documenting our care.
The only times that it's bad, is when the internet is slow, which is usually during lunch. But after or before you do get your response.
But I am very happy with Redoc, it's easy to learn and use very helpful. It's step by step service.
The adjustments of payment sometimes can be confusing.
Nicole: Hi, I'm Nicole. I am a doctor of physical therapy, and I am the owner and founder of Body and Motion Physical Therapy and Wellness. I have a very small practice with three other doctors of physical therapy who work with me, and I would rate JaneApp a five out of five. Before using JaneApp, we were using a program called HoneyBook and it just wasn't EMR-friendly enough for us. It wasn't HIPAA-compliant, so we switched over to JaneApp and we've absolutely loved the abilities that JaneApp has for our practice. The reason why we chose JaneApp in our practice is because it has a really simple online booking system for all of our clients to go online and book. It also has the ability to take payment at the time of service, and as a cash practice, this is really important to us. So all of the portals are right there for our clients to pay and for us to have all the reporting at the end of the day. Speaking of reporting, we also love the ability that we can recapture lost visits and we can go into that report tab and see all of the clients who we haven't seen recently so we can reach out to them. Jane has so many features where it's everything all in one, and we don't have to have multiple programs. We can just rely only on Jane for absolutely everything we need at our practice. JaneApp was really easy to get started with because they have a whole library of videos on their website that help you with everything. And I'll admit, I call them very often, and it's not because there's tech issues, it's because sometimes I'm not super tech-friendly and their customer service is 10 out of 10. They're always so easy to reach, so friendly, and absolutely help me every single time. I would absolutely suggest if you are thinking about getting Jane, it is the best EMR system. Just do it. You can hop on a phone call with them, or what I did is I did a demo with them. And as soon as I did a demo, I absolutely loved it. So my advice is if you're thinking about an EMR system and you are a therapist, you should do it.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
