Going through some pains here has taught us a lot but the issues themselves aren't ideal. There have been some data lags when we have tried to access our data through the UI or APIs.
Our overall experience has been good. We have built great relationships with Genesys support staff and other Genesys users.
G Cloud is not as "self sustaining" as we were lead to believe but as we move through the learning curve we see less struggle.

A Step Up From Previous Call Center Software, But Prone To Errors.
The Dialpad support team has always been very helpful and responsive. It is really nice to have a reasonably priced phone system that is very simple to use and robust.
The only problem I have is that it has a delay notification on my mobile phone. It rings an hour later I missed the call from my computer.
Love being flexible with our team and allowing them to use their own devices with a virtual number that Dialpad offers. Having additional features like recording calls is nice too.
My biggest problem with Dialpad is that when I get a call back sometimes it won't ring and it will list it as a missed call.
I love this software for it's many features like a dedicated desktop program, fully featured mobile app. Sleek interface, and most importantly HIGH CALL QUALITY.
Concerns that not all calls are connecting. While phone does ring, appears regularly as calls missed where no notifications were delivered for, "calls.
Great service, great price, great support. I would recommend staying away from their desk phones as much as possible, but using the app has helped move our legacy organization into the 21st century.
This is even more frustrating in cases where I've been waiting on hold for a long time, only to be connected, and for the other person to not be able to hear me.

Prior to using Genesys Cloud, an on-premises aspect call center was being used. With the recent COVID situation, it wasn't ideal for remote agent solutions, and as such, the Genesys Cloud solution was the perfect answer. Genesys Cloud was selected after reviewing several different providers with the main criteria of being a complete provider of both call center contact center and unified communication solutions. The Genesys Cloud solution provides a complete portfolio for the business, and for that reason, it was the perfect solution for the organization and that's why we implemented it. Getting started with Genesys Cloud was relatively easy, but it did take some preparation work to get things started. By mapping out the user profiles and the routing logic, we're able to implement it. It took a little bit of time, but nothing that really prevented us from having a clean cut-over and having this solution go live. For those evaluating Genesys Cloud, I would recommend working with a value-added reseller that has experience in your vertical industry. For our industry, it helped having a value-added reseller that really knew the intricacies of integrating with solutions such as salesforce.com that we use. By taking advantage of their experience and the Genesys Cloud, it resulted in a smooth implementation that ultimately makes the callers and the employees use the solution effectively, and as a result, truly a success.

Prior to Dialpad, we were using an old fashioned copper landline phone system in an office. And we were using cell phones when we were not in the office. One of the big problems we had, as so easy as it sounds, is it didn't integrate with my system, so we had to physically dial and had a lot of missed dials and wrong numbers. And then you also had people dialing our landline number, which is different than our cell phone numbers. We decided we needed a system like Dialpad because we wanted a single system. Whether we were in our office, working in a Starbucks, working at home, on the road, from our office phone, from our computer, from a cell phone, one thing that worked for all. Very pleasantly surprised how easy it was to integrate Dialpad, both as a cell phone app and on the computer. And it easily integrated with the other recruiting software that we used. It was extremely easy. I am not overly technical, and it worked flawlessly without even a need for help desk support. Strongly consider Dialpad, even over some of the bigger names that are out there that they compete with. The support is excellent when needed, but I've needed it very little. It integrates flawlessly. It sets up nicely, and the price is right. I would absolutely give it serious consideration.
