Internal IT departments and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
Organizations using any or all of these: Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, and file servers (including NetApp, EMC, Synology, Hitachi and Huawei).
Very fair pricing and simple to set up. The real-time updates in the GUI are impressive and there looks to be some rapid and useful development underway.
The Remote Desktop feature is missing the option for file transfers and chat but both are on the roadmap for future updates. The agent is currently only available for Windows.
AWESOME support and very quick to help. The cost is amazing!!! The tool is easy to deploy and very easy to maintain.
I also was limited to one login for an administrator at first but that was opened up recently to more than one.
Once I added our domain, the computers started showing up in the dashboard immediately. It has an excellent suite of tool that helps the IT department save time.
I think some of the information can be hard to find, or you have to drill down. For example finding if a machine has low disk space.
There's a clear and comprehensive development roadmap and the up to 100 devices for free model is amazing - incredibly useful for small businesses and/or trialling the system.
No native Chat Client to communicate with the user.
The simplicity of this product is fantastic. Its on of the easiest and most simple piece of software to use with the most effective results.
It fails more often than not and the upgrade instructions listed on ManageEngine's website has inaccurate data (lists the wrong batch files to use, etc).
From a user perspective I am very happy and believe I will be able to make lots of improvements based on audit results, and the HR team are happy that they can audit what they need to see too.
Some of the upgrades are a bit of a pain due to services, and it's hard to install multiple products on the same server due to port usage and service installations.
Overall ManageEngine Audit Plus gives you a great AD Admin and Audit experience. I would love to recommend it.
The upgrade process is the worst thing I've ever seen in a software product.
Great experience, I will definitely recommend this product.
The software's update procedure is error prone. It runs in Java and not all updates are succesful.
