Very clear and concise reporting thanks to the clean UI. Intuitive to operate, lets you download a spreadsheet of the report which is a nice bonus.
The navigation could be a little confusing with 2 components to commission.
My experience with CapitvateIQ has been great. The ability to customize statements and plans are been so crucial for our quickly growing company.
That they have to manual export the data for payroll sometimes errors do happen.
So far the experience has been great, their team is fantastic, they have great support and tech staff and the platform itself is aesthetically pleasing and easy to use.
Dashboard icons is confusing so you end up clicking every button till you get to the right screen. Information presented is intuitive but not the navigation.
The guidance of the software with the ability to change the intricate details to suit our company is what suited our needs which is why we to go with bright contracts.
The section about giving notice for absences is worded a bit strangely and sometimes I have to manually edit this with a pdf to Word editor which is a bit annoying.
I have been very pleased with the price of Bright Contracts and recently needed some further advice and received this promptly which to me is a must when you are dealing with the needs of Employees.
My only problem is that when doing rotas they are weekly where as I would need a rota that can go from the 1st to the 31st of the month.
For a small investment in time once a month it is easy to remain on top of all contract obligations. Support is great and all communication is relevant to our business.
I was a little confused at the start between the handbook and the contract. But I soon got the hang of it.

So the business problem that we solve with CaptivateIQ is just the ability to be able to see our commission and our paychecks in advance, sometimes up to two to two and a half weeks. It really gives me a chance to be able to tell management if I see any discrepancies in my paycheck, so they can fix those in advance. So the one thing I like about CaptivateIQ, one of the best things that I like, is that I'm able to bookmark it in my browser and two weeks before my paycheck, I can just go in, just take a few minutes and look to see that everything looks right. If not, I can just tell my managers and it's fixed immediately. So the one thing I would change about CaptivateIQ is that the user interface can be a little bit confusing for new users, but given a week or two, once you kind of get around the home screen, you can find your way around pretty well.
