CIVCAST vs Buildern: Which is a better fit?

The distribution of plans and specifications to interested contractors and suppliers is very simple and reliable. Clients like the "real time" list of planholders.

If I have to find something to complain about, I have a little difficulty putting my project location on the Summary page.

This platform is great for public bidding projects. And if there are addendums to the bid documents, you can be confident that all of the plan holders will receive the addendums.

It can be difficult to find a searched project at times.

I highly recommend CIVCAST as an affordable, valuable option to promote and maintain bidding projects for your business.

It is a bit difficult to know which page I need to be on to find or edit informaton.

Great platform that gets great, big user base from contractors.

Random UPdates and bugs. Right now, its hard to enter in email addresses for questions.

I really appreciate the Buildern team and have really loved working with them and am happy that we have finally found a complete software solution that actually works.

I have tried to provide the same feedback to Buildertrend in the past but it has fallen on deaf ears.

The team is responsive and quickly implements changes, improving the software and user experience. I highly recommend Buildern for anyone looking to enhance their building company's operations.

I will try to update this review once I do. I am personally used to using Microsoft Project, not sure if that makes me biased.

The budgeting and job costing tool is pretty robust and they have made significant improvements on it over the last few months. Comparing budget to actual is extremely easy to do as well.
