Electric Ease vs Trimble Estimation Desktop: Which is a better fit?

Great product at a great value. Definitely recommend this software for anyone that is looking for an affordable estimating program.

The material list takes some time to navigate/ trouble finding part numbers.

I have been using Electric ease for about 6 months now and it is just great, The program itself is fantastic and the customer support is second to none.

There are a few irritating issues with navigation within the software. They don't limit functionality, but can add a little bit of time to the estimating process.

The best part of switching to Electric Ease is how quickly we got up to speed with the software. We were bidding projects the same day as we installed Electric Ease.

If you're sick of estimating the hard way look no further.

Great the guys are awesome and always ready to assist anyway they can and go as far as calling every once in a while to check in.

So, fare I have not come across anything I don't like.

We have been using Estimation/Maxwell Systems estimating program for over 26 years. It is a fantastic product, on that I would and have recommended to anyone in the market for estimating software.

The vendors inability to make improvements or even fix bugs or error within the program.

There are many functions even after 25 years of using this system that I don't use, but there are many that I do. This software is great and has provided us with winning bids in the 30 to 40% range.

We use to call and get problems resolved right away. Now we have to wait for a call back and I'm not always sitting in my office waiting for calls so I've missed those call backs (frustrating).

Our account manager (Mary Heinz) has been a great help keeping us up to date with the latest software upgrades. We recommend this system over any other estimating software we have tried.

What are you waiting for. Get rid of the costly bid documents.

Customer service agent has been a great asset to us in upgrading our software and purchasing other systems. We would highly recommend her as an account manager.
