Marketing, Creative, Operations, PMO, IT, and Back-office teams of 5+ users who manage a large number of projects and need to share them across a diverse user base of technical/non-technical users.
Businesses that deliver client work and are looking to become more efficient, organized, profitable, and happy. Save time and boost collaboration while increasing profitability and growth.
But it works great for our team and does what it needs to, and well. Oh, also, they've been super supportive, great customer service, are continually adding new features, and open to feedback.
We added unique fields, and were not able to pull reports from these fields. Once dependencies are broken between tasks, manually changing dates is a bit difficult.
Possess all the good features of MS Excel and MS Project, which have been nicely integrated into a nice simple layout. Allows to share documents and message across the team, good for collaboration.
The other major inconvenience is not being able to batch select tasks without having to check each tasks' check box.
Super glad we pushed through and have put Workzone in our daily business operations toolbox. If you need a real time project and task management, or goals planning tool, this is amazing.
Tasks can be tedious to change project dates if you initially enter wrong.
With all the great tools that Workzone provides to help me manage multiple projects across different team members, the best thing I like about it is their customer support.
It is a little difficult to figure out how to retrieve or check out the old projects.
In general, I find it easy to use and navigate, and I appreciate the fact that it can help to improve collaboration, communication, and organization.
The majority of the problems that are enough to serve our customers is enough, this way of thinking is really wrong.
Great, the customer service team is excellent too, extremely responsive and they listen to feature requests all the time. New features come out regularly and the majority are very useful.
The only real issue I have is with the API. We have tried using it several times before but the data in and our was horrible and inconsistent.
Excellent, we have been able to collaborate more closely and effectively on projects remotely which has been very helpful these past few months with most of oyr staff woring from home.
There wasn't an option to chat within the team when we had Teamwork, and the lack of "chat" options was one of the reasons we made the switch to another project management software.
So for a single company, looking to only organize and collaborate projects and tasks, to improve speed and efficiency, Teamwork is superb.
The CRM is pretty bad at the moment. Needs quite a bit of work.
Dan: Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a Chief Growth Officer, and I give Workzone a three out of five. For more reviews, click below. When I was considering Workzone, there were a couple of other platforms that I thought of and was considering. One of them was Asana and the other one was Basecamp. So, actually, when I was within Workzone, this was partially my idea, but there was a larger initiative from our marketing agency to use that because that was the platform that they were using. So there was some mixed reviews in terms of why we needed to use it, or which way, which direction we wanted to go, or which platform. But ultimately, it was a marketing agency decision. When onboarding and integrating Workzone into our business, or as our marketing agency gave us access, it was pretty seamless, actually. It was really quick, very straightforward, no concerns in that aspect. When I'm thinking about what platform, as a project manager to use, Workzone was average, baseline, middle-of-the-road. If I wanted to use some platforms or other different programs, Workzone would be a consideration. I would consider using some other ones. Basecamp is very popular and Asana, I think, is very popular as well. And they both have different characteristics based on how you might want to use them. Ultimately, all three platforms do give you the same experience. They do provide the same project management, it's just how different they are and how much you want to use the benefits or the different pieces to the puzzle.
Blake: Hi, I'm Blake. I work as a program manager. We have about 56 people that work for our company. And I would rate Teamwork at a three out of five. Prior to Teamwork, we chose to go with Trello. We had it for a while. And it was a great program, but it didn't really have as many features as we needed as we were experiencing growth. We chose Teamwork because of the robust amount of features that it had. It offered a lot of different views for projects, and the task management tools were really good for it. We really also enjoyed the reporting structure that came along with it, as well as the financial side of it when it comes to projects management. We also really enjoyed the fact that de-collaboration was easy for Teamwork. Getting started with Teamwork wasn't very difficult at times, but we did have an issue with massive amounts of people trying to [inaudible 00:00:52] at one time. It was a little confusing. It was a little bit bogged down. The program was very large, so it seemed over stifled. Teamwork was a little bit messy for us. It was a struggle for our onboarding team to work with them as their supports team was a really great. They didn't get back with us in time on a lot of things, so we missed out on a lot of opportunities with them. We also had issues with the bugs with the system. There were a lot of technical issues that came along with Teamwork. The Gantt chart, which is what we primarily use for our project management, was terrible when it came to bugs, and it unfortunately made our projects late and our tasks off queue. And the collaboration was good, but the collaboration was buggy, so it was also a little bit lax and lagging behind, which caused us to eventually decide to go against Teamwork and move towards ClickUp. Which we have actually been using now for over three years, and we really ClickUp. It is definitely a program that's customizable and it's also very neat to interface. I would definitely recommend not using Teamwork if you are planning on growing or if you're in the process of a lot growth. Teamwork is definitely made for enterprise clients.
