TastyIgniter vs Slice: Which is a better fit?

Is a very powerful software that allows you to manage orders very quickly and the best thing is that being opensource and free you can customize it better.

As a developer, since I can customise and edit everything, I did not feel that there is something missing.

The most important factor for choosing this as our solution was the ability to customize and integrate with other existing solutions. The codebase is well written and documented.

For a product that is free, the ability to get help too is just a bonus. The creator is always trying to help people out where possible as well as others in the community.

Work on the presentation of products. Homepage is a bit dull, it should reflect similar applications eg display slider with promos, coupons.

Extensions are another powerful tool that can increase something that is awesome to another step.

Basic reports, no delivery module, no mobile app.

What I like the most is the easiness of the app and the professionally of the account managers I had to deal with during those years, Slice gave me great opportunities.

Lack of integration, menu item printing routing.

The pictures to upload to menu is too time consuming and difficult.

Slice has the best tablet software for accepting orders at the restaurant, excellent Customer Service, and a Slice-covered Loyalty Program that customers use.

I have had a few complaints about storing cc numbers for ease...also when the system goes down.
