Una volta superato lo scoglio iniziale di dover strutturare il proprio sistema di organizzazione da zero (consiglio di partire scaricando qualche template gratuito già fatto), ti cambia davvero il modo di gestire le informazioni e la produttività quotidiana. Pros È letteralmente un "secondo cervello". Da quando l'ho scoperto, ho abbandonato i documenti di testo sparsi ovunque. La comodità di poter creare pagine infinite annidate dentro altre pagine lo rende perfetto per organizzare gli appunti universitari, dividendoli per materie e semestri. Lo trovo geniale anche per i progetti creativi: l'ho usato per costruire una sorta di wiki personale per appuntarmi le idee, le meccaniche e la lista di asset 3D per un prototipo di videogioco su Unreal Engine. In più, la versione gratuita per uso personale è praticamente illimitata. Cons Il suo più grande pregio è anche il suo peggior difetto: la sindrome della pagina bianca. Avendo una libertà totale di personalizzazione, rischi di perdere pomeriggi interi a creare template esteticamente perfetti (inserendo icone, cover e widget) invece di studiare effettivamente. Inoltre, l'app per smartphone a volte risulta un po' pesante e macchinosa da navigare se hai creato database con molte colonne o tabelle complesse; rende decisamente meglio se usato da PC. I think the service get a lot of new features and before using it I had looked for another compettitors and the result was Notion was the winner! I’ve used Notion to block out creative projects from start to finish, and I’ve also used Notion to lay out data on multiple clients in an easy-to-view format. Pros I love how customizable Notion is, especially when building multiple pages that support various workflows. If you know how to build it, Notion can most likely support whatever you need. I also like that Notion is collaborative and allows for multiple team members to contribute to a board. Cons There is a fairly steep learning curve to Notion. The knowledge is worth it, but be prepared to make a substantial investment into understanding the basic tools of Notion and the more complicated aspects of the software. I have used it to organize different projects, keep track of information and create a structure around things that would otherwise be spread across different documents. I like that I can start with something simple and keep building it as the project grows. Once everything is set up, it makes it much easier for me to see what I am working on and where everything belongs. Pros I really like how flexible Notion is. I can have completely different projects in the same place and organize each one differently depending on what I need. I especially like being able to create pages, databases and trackers and connect information instead of having everything scattered across different places. Cons Sometimes there are almost too many options. I can start trying to organize something simple and end up spending more time creating the perfect setup than actually working on the project. Some of the more advanced features also take a little time to understand. Notes, lists, plans, projects, and random ideas can all stay together instead of being scattered everywhere. It does take a little bit to learn at first, but once you get used to it, it’s really convenient. I also like how customizable it is because you can set things up in a way that actually makes sense for you instead of being stuck with one layout. Cons Notion can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are so many different ways to set things up. Sometimes I just want something simple and end up spending too much time messing with layouts or figuring out where something was moved to.
