QuickBooks Online vs Shoeboxed: Which is a better fit?

Speaker 1: My name is Alex. I'm the COO for Made By WiFi. We're a boutique IT firm based out of New York City with under 10 employees. I would rate QuickBooks Online a 5/5. I use QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping, invoice management, accounts receivables, payment processing, as well as the reporting capabilities which are very rich. I like how easy it was to pick up and learn. I've never used QuickBooks before. We were managing our company's finances through Google Sheets prior to QBO. The learning curve was basically a day, we got it all figured out. It's very easy to navigate and it's very easy to find what you need as well as streamline financial operations. Just making it easier to get paid, essentially. I'd like to see more consistent monthly billing from QBO. I feel like our monthly billing increased almost by 50% since we signed up without really getting more features. I'm not sure how quickly or why they raised their prices so aggressively, but they have, and I wish there was just more of a locked-in rate for a period of time that we could have agreed to.

You're searching everywhere. And the Shoeboxed app really simplified that because as soon as I check out of the store, scan something, I can just scan it on my phone into the Shoeboxed app. I don't have to worry. It's there. It's safe. It's secure. And I am not having stacks of papers that I have to go through when I, again, need to turn in a receipt to work, when I need to turn in a receipt to the taxman, or anything. I'm not struggling, and I have reduced the clutter of all of these receipts that just pile up. Shoeboxed is really simple to integrate into your business. Simply download the app and really just create your account, and off you go. You could use it for different... If you have like a large office, certainly you have other employees that can use it as well. I have a small business, so for me, it's just myself. But it's applicable to different sizes of businesses. And that's also the great perk about it. Your employees are not having to worry about keeping up with receipts, sending them in to you, and then them piling up and wondering, "Did I turn that receipt in or not?" You've got a record of it. If you're thinking about ways to really organize your office, your employees, your life, I really recommend taking a look into the Shoeboxed app. It's perfect for any size of business, be it a small business or a large business. They have different options there. It just is really going to make your workday happier and make your employees happier keeping up with it that way.
