SpiraTeam vs Helix ALM: Which is a better fit?

I really like the product; it is very easy to use, very easy to track team's performance , easy to do requirement traceability ,easy to assign tasks for the team. Overall a great product.

In the past upgrading other vendor tools has been a deal breaker when it failed. A tool should be able to upgrade itself without throwing any SQL errors or similar.

Very good keep up the great work you guys are doing including development team, customer support(Adam stand out in his response) very positive team.

The one negative for us was the lack of a sortable backlog for scrum. I was not able to find a way to rank items in a list to create the order for the backlog.

SpiraTeam was a great find in that it exceeded our needs and was very affordable offering great value. It's quickly become the focal point of our project implementation activities.

Lack of knowledge on my part of networks and servers made various steps hard to comprehend, without assistance.

Product is lightweight, flexible, feature-rich, responsive. Company has good documentation and provides excellent customer support.

However we miss some specific functions. Therefore we need workarounds or specific implementations.

I like that it ties everything together and if you have things set up correctly, you get great trace-ability. It is VERY powerful, and flexible.

Lack of HTML support in emails sent by Helix ALM. It still doesn't support inline images.

Easy to fit the processes to our needs. It is realy a good thing, that this software is so easy to fit also to smal process and deep, and complex processes.

In issue window it's hard to see some details as they are hidden in various tabs.

The most important thing is Filters and our company using it as much as possible. Also, we are very happy about Requirements section.

I use this for test case development and defect tracking.

Shelving files is a great feature for users because they are saved onto the server and if the developers system crashes or the developer left the company, other users can retrieve them.

The text editor is still functional, but it's fallen below the minimum expectations for a text editor in this day and age.
