Postbox provides a powerful email solution for independent consultants, small and medium-sized businesses, large enterprises, and educational institutions.
Mailtrap is primarily geared toward developers but can also be used by QAs, managers and marketers looking to control their entire email infrastructure with just one feature-packed platform.
I have a bunch of emails and Postbox helps me keep everything organized. I love the tags/labels panel and the filters work like a charm.
The feature I miss the most is the missing taskbar badge for unread mails under Windows.
LOVED the flexibility and slick design and powerful features. It feels really modular and that it will accommodate my particular workflow.
Then, to make things worse, my employer blocked IMAP on its Outlook accounts, so I cannot use Postbox at all any longer for my work email account.
I'm an inbox zero kinda a person, and I can power through my entire inbox without every touching a mouse/trackpad. The integrations with google are great, and the customizability is superb.
One is that when I look at my sent emails, there are many missing. When I look at the files in gmail itself they're all there.
The best feature is the ability to assign topics and create smart folder which makes controling you emails a breeze. For someone who receives many emails a day this is a godsend.
For some reason, Postbox fails to see it. Is there anyone at Postbox, to whom I've paid for the app, to contact about this.
What impresses us most about Mailtrap is its commitment to data clarity. It offers in-depth weekly summaries that help track everything properly and give us valuable insights.
A bit of trouble was while verifying our domain due to an issue with the provider, not the service itself.
One of the top advantages of this service is the ability to access email content Post-Dispatch. Not just the simple text but also the intricate details like HTML and RAW data.
The restricted storage space for test emails can become quickly filled, making it challenging to retain and reference a large number of test emails.
It’s performance and reliability have exceeded my expectations, and i am more than satisfied with it’s overall functionality.
A slight disappointment was that higher-tier plans, including the business plan, did not offera free trial period.
The rapid integration was a key win for us, especially given the volume of emails we deal with. Getting up and running swiftly was a must, and Mailtrap delivered on that front.
One downside I've noted is that the email address for the inbox is not accessible to users onlower-tier plans.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
