Overall this is a great product at a fair price from a great company. We highly recommend Workspot.
The most frustrating part was simply learning how to use and leverage the Workspots to their full potential.
Overall we have enjoyed the experience and have had great reviews from the employees who are using the product daily. A self service ability to increase the size of the virtual SSD would be nice.
So far the AMD desktops have been sketchy, and are stuck on an older build 1809 of Windows 10.
The power it gave all levels of our employees in both compute and graphics ability was way better than any other VDI we had looked at. Ease of management was another big factor for us.
At this point no, I would have said more configuration options around the GPU option but that has been addressed with the latest AMD releases.
Great interface; to the point with being streamlined. I am pleased with the product - we were able to deploy rather quickly.
The use has expanded however to almost any remote employee to give them access to programs or systems in our network. We have had users work from across the globe on these systems with minimal lag.
My overall experience is great, it is really fills amazing to control my remote desktop using it. In many ways it feels like working physically on my PC.
This has a negative effect on my productivity, especially as it is unpredictable. I believe that this may be how my tech team integrates it, but it is still a major inconvenience.
I like the ease of access my remote desktop, despite there are many authentications in the middle, most of them are saved on the browser.
Everyone in my company experiences this problem and it can be very frustrating to be in the middle of work and then lose it and have to open the program and start over.
I like that if we lose power my work is saved in the virtual environment so I can return back to my work quickly once the issue is resolved.
Having to tell a client that Citrix's own support team cannot fix their issues when they call every morning havi9ng issues logging in is frustrating and makes us look bad.
I like the fact that the implementation was simple and very quick and this tool is incredibly easy to use. It's just like plug and play.
There are times where its a little slow or changes to existing documents are not able to be made. This can become confusing for people.
Preston B.: Hi, my name is Preston. I'm a systems administrator. I give Citrix Workspace a four out of five. For more videos like this, click the link below. We use Citrix Workspace to provide a client on our users' computers to allow them to connect remotely into our data center to be able to launch their desktops and work. I like Citrix Workspace's ability to optimize the connection to our endpoint for the user and the server performance with Teams, and in the past, they had Skype optimizations as well as being able to redirect Flash and other content to the endpoint to process that. And I also like the community of users that we have for Citrix on the tech side of things, so that way we can find solutions online quickly. For Citrix Workspace, I don't like the cost for everything to be able to function. And when we have issues and we reach out to support, sometimes that can take a while, depending on what level of urgency they have. And there's sometimes where the installs can make getting Citrix Workspace all up and running on the server side can make it complicated.
