If you work with paper surveys on any level, it is superior to anything else out there. If you want quick and easy reporting for your own purposes, it is also excellent.
It has a very steep learning curve and has a high burden on administration without a way to delegate access control and responsibilities such as data validation/cross-checking.
In general term it is very powerful and It has the capability to launch any kind of project and it is very use to use for end users and also when I want to share some results with external clients.
It's hard for me to teach other colleagues how to use Snap, because it's not very user-friendly.
Snap is pretty user friendly and the webhost features are easy to learn and use as well. We like the tracking of respondents and the ability to download results in multiple ways.
It is also difficult to learn and not intuitive for people who don't have prior experience with database design and management.
Snap Surveys is a very good software, I would say that it is one of the best for the distribution of surveys, despite its prices, it still has quite interesting functions.
Some functions can be hard to set up if you don't use them very often.
I really like the purpose of Hotjar. It's a platform that helps a lot with insights and perceptions of the user experience in our websites, and it helps us to improve our design and ux experience.
Hotjar is getting sometimes bad reputation. If you mention you're using it on your terms and conditions, some visitors can be affraid by being spied.
It's also fantastic that we can share these reports with stakeholders outside of the marketing department and the results are crystal clear to non-marketers.
With the bounce rate problem, I have been avoiding features that involves pop-ups. In other hand, the heatmaps and funnels tools continues to be essential to our operation.
I use it on a daily basis. All the different features are great, like the screen recording that visually helps you see what your customers are doing on your website to the website.
However, I can't say what is really negative about it (the biggest problem was finding out that our product is not as affordable as we expected), so I would need to investigate another competing tool.
Love using pools - you will be surprised how good it works if you ask the right question in the right time. Very responsive and professional customer support.
Nothing I can say, maybe one... they are costly when upgrade to the more premium plan.
Alan: My name is Alan. I'm the owner and CEO of my company. I give Hotjar a five. And for more reviews, click below. I found Hotjar through either a business coach, or perhaps a marketing video, where the point was made, that you really need to track your website's behaviors, and your consumer journey from the beginning. And the best way to do that, is to track behaviors. And that's how I found Hotjar. So, once I installed it, I was able to see a lot of the activity that people were taking on my website, and take actionable steps to improve the quality and experience of people going on my website. So, there are two main reasons I chose Hotjar. One was its heat mapping. I was able to see what people were not only looking at, what they clicked on, and how far down the page they scrolled. But more importantly, I was able to look at a recording of their behaviors on my website, see what websites they visited, what they clicked on, where they stopped, what they read, what they skipped past. Gave me a lot of information on specific buyer journeys. And specifically, when I was able to link that into a... If they filled out a form on my website, and I can see when that form came in, I can go right to the video of that user, that led to that form fill, to see what their behavior was like before they filled out that form. So, I can see specifically what pages they looked at, where they stopped, where their interest was. And we can use that data to have more meaningful conversations with the potential. New clients with the lead. It was very easy to get started with Hotjar. They give you a code that you install into your website. So, you just manually do it yourself, if you're familiar, or you give it to your webmaster, and you're up and running. You have your login to get into their dashboard, and you can start recording and viewing everything, once you have it all set up properly. So, it was fairly easy. I'm not a very technical guy, but I had it up and running within an hour. For anyone considering Hotjar, my suggestion and advice is to just do it. They have a low tier offer. I believe. I don't think it costs anything. You can just get right in, start collecting data, take a look, and start making actionable steps to improve your website and your buyer journey. And you've got nothing to lose for that. So, I would do it.
