The most useful part of this software is the ease of integration with most of the popular camera brands such as Canon.
Some functions are limited to low-cost or even older cameras, which I believe would be the most negative point.
Overall experience is good and nice editing with bright and lively colours looking out of the box images with nice effects.
The software is not my cup of tea mainly because it does not integrate with photoshop. But going in deeper with the problems I have with the product, my number one issue is the price.
I love the highly customizable user interface, which made using this software a lot easier for me as a new user. I'm happy I made the switch to Capture One with its many great features.
Catalogs, sessions and a stupid decision not to support other medium format cameras except Phase One and Fuji.
I like the speed and stability of this program and the rendering of RAW images from my camera. The customer service is also amazing queries are attended to promptly.
For many years I've used Lightroom, but Lr has many problems with color management (even for Canon cameras) and too much use of CPU that makes the exports very slow and burns the computer.
PaintShop Pro has a terrific feature set but at a very affordable price. I like how easy it is to use and fairly intuitive.
But being asked for money every time I open a program kinda rubs me the wrong way. They're not doing anything wrong really, it's just a pet peeve of mine.
Overall, I do recommend Paintshop Pro because it's the best affordable photo enhancer and it has nice special effects features.
My only complaint is the program will show ads for itself and try to coax you to buy the latest version at a discount. It's not a big complaint, and I may be able to shut it off somehow.
I did not spend a lot of time learning how to use it, it was straightforward and simple but still very capable. I think it's a great investment that will be an asset for anyone in a creative industry.
PaintShop would generally begin to lag whenever my C-drive space is below 5GB. It's weird as I've never seen Photoshop behave this way even several other heavy tools that I have been using.
Actually I started with this program first and then I liked it because of the easy use. Shortcuts are the best part I can tell.
Shorlty after ordering, I decided my age would make it difficult for me to learn new tricks---decided to cancel order.
