Sage Construction Suite vs FOUNDATION: Which is a better fit?

Customer service has always been amazing, very responsive through a quick chat in the program and it gets escalated to a consultant quickly if you can't resolve it immediately.

Terrible customer service, no technical support. No practice accounting, payroll is nonfunctional.

The vendor is eager to keep me happy as a customer, and I love that. I am still learning everyday on how to use Sage.

Every GUI for every module forces you to follow the developer's narrow methodology which frankly exposes their inexperience and poor understanding of construction management.

If you are looking for a seamless transitions of your bidding/estimating to project management/collaboration/documentation and to the financials then this a pretty good solutions.

Not cloud based which causes severe pain points.

Outstanding customer service and technical support. Excellent job costing and subcontractor commitment tracking, both of which are most important to me.

The portion that I find that I struggle with the most is the scheduling for work orders and I really have. Not used it much for that reason.

Quite simply, we love FOUNDATION. We get great customer service from real people and a software solution that keeps progressing and enlarging on concepts to help construction companies.

Be prepared to be frustrated during training do to training sequence and poor explanation of why your doing steps.

All things considered, the conversion went smoothly with the help and encouragement of my trainer. I have a new appreciation for the importance of the initial set-up.

I dislike the inability to have "sub jobs" (cannot print CPR by phase/site). I cannot track labor to change orders.

Great functionality out of the box. The ability to easily write our own reports is a huge benefit.

I was disappointed that the Foundation Mobile app didn't have the reporting that our management staff needs to run our jobsites.

Foundation has great graphics, and the Executive Dashboard is wonderful for our company officers that want a quick and easy-to-understand overview.

I had problems with importing information. Foundation was able to assist me in correcting the issue.
