Quick Bid vs Viewpoint Vista: Which is a better fit?

Good, We have been using it for 15 years now and have not considered another product because it does what it is supposed to do.

You only get one license, it is very confusing if there is no training, it is not user friendly, the cost is very high and to maintain the software up to date is costly.

This software is a good tool to aid in estimating. Lots of useful tools and accurate, with various costs being consolidated in a timely fashion.

Back up service in Australia is poor referring you to a contact in Brisbane which is pretty useless when your in Perth.

Once setup, it works good and comes with great support.

Fairly dumb program in that to do a complete build up estimate you Either have to pay another 4K for quick bid or develop a excel spreadsheet and live link the data which is sometime temperamental.

Customer service is awesome. After getting the proper training it is easier to use and there are plenty of videos to help if a problem arises.

It can be confusing and I can’t create a tonnage cost code. And that’s the most important one that I need.

We have a pretty good experience with Viewpoint. MFM has finally gotten better, and clearview is helpful.

The outside accountants hate this software. I've used over 30 different software packages, and none of them are as bad and poorly designed.

Allow tons of 3rd party vendors to create great supplemental products. Great customization so it can be set up to what is important to your company.

When I make a mistake putting in Accounts payable and use the wrong batch month, it is a little unforgiving to get the mistake corrected. As I learn it is getting easier.

Overall after implementation and 6 months its been wonderful and I would highly recommend it to any Construction Company.

The integration was very poorly done, and we are still experiencing problems related to poor set-up over a year later even though we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for Viewpoint specialists.

Great product, great company, highly recommend. We have been on the product over a year and continue to be pleased.

Change Orders in the Project Management module are difficult and frustrate users. This problem alone has lead us to start exploring other options for our PMs.
