HR departments and hiring managers looking for a better way to find the right candidates to invite into their hiring process.
Companies looking to scale their workforce, global enterprises, startups, and brands.
Also it provided good candidate experience and demonstrated that we are serious about hiring top quality candidates. It has been quite easy to setup and has become an integral part of our recruiting.
They will not refund anything, for sure Terrible experience.
It was super easy to use, building the assessments was intuitive, and I liked the fact I could add my logo and brand colors, and the assessment looked like it came from our company.
Inability to purchase additional candidate assessment seats at the time of subscription.
TestGorilla was super easy to set up and there are so many really good and comprehensive tests available to choose from for the roles we were looking to fill (mainly marketing related).
Their customer service provides only template responses and no solutions. We keep getting charged for it even though we have stated clearly that we want to cancel our account.
The product is pretty useful for the purpose we use it for - mostly in the recruitment process. Integration to our process was easy enough, which is a great plus.
Rejecting candidates that you do not interview should not count towards credits.
At our company we have used it over and over again to recruit for both short and long term assignments and we have been very successful finding good talent.
Experience with contractor was unprofessional. She lied - and rather than saying she couldn't take the job she disappeared for a week.
Upwork has been a great experience for me. I can find a freelancer to help me with my projects in a day or less than 24 hours. It is extremely fast and reliable.
There are so many freelancers and jobs that some scams and bad offers might creep in.
I really enjoy using this program. I have not received any offers as of yet, but I am optimistic about finding something I will excel at as well as enjoy.
The interface is terribly restrictive and confusing, seems like several projects glued together without internal cohesion.
Its Bidding System is professional, Interview Environment is Professional, Jobs Features i.e Fixed Price Job and Hourly Jobs are Great. Its Security System is Amazing.
I have used all the biggest platforms and in some of them, it is almost impossible to get jobs, in others, there are a lot of people trying to scam you.
Speaker 1: I'm Adam. My title is HR Business Partner. My review for TestGorilla is five stars. For more reviews, click below. We had a need for a candidate testing software and I was researching different products and came across TestGorilla. It was a very affordable product and had an expansive range of tests that I could send candidates and it fit my needs. I chose to use TestGorilla because it's extremely affordable, it's easy to use, it's simple to send to applicants, and the applicant results are sent to myself and the hiring manager. They also have a huge variety of tests and that includes a disc assessment, which helps us understand a potential candidate's preferred method of communication style, which is extremely helpful for us to help make our decision. TestGorilla is very easy to get started with. It's simple to use. They have a customer support team that can help you through setting up your first assessment, but it's so simple to use. I've never had to reach out to them for that type of help. I would recommend anyone looking at TestGorilla to look at their test book of available tests that you can send to applicants and see if it matches what you are looking to test applicants for. That was the really big decision making component for us.
Danny: Hi, I'm Danny. I'm a Director of Web Development. I give Upwork a rating of five out of five and for more videos like this, please click the link below. Before switching to Upwork, we had tried freelancer.com. It worked okay, but the UI wasn't as good for us. We had a harder time getting our accounting team the visibility they needed into what we were spending money on, which projects to assign work to, which is what led us to ultimately find Upwork. The reason we chose Upwork was it was a lot easier to bring in other members of my team. We have an accounting person that needed to know what projects things needed to get attached to, who was spending the money, they needed to be part of that approval process. Some of the other alternatives didn't allow for that, so that was one of the big reasons we switched to Upwork. The other thing we really liked about Upwork was it's similar to any of the shopping apps that you might use, so there's ratings, instead of for products that you're purchasing, there are ratings for the freelancers that you would use, so it basically is a work history for them that you can see. You can ask them questions. That was super helpful. And then the other really big thing that we liked was they have more or less an escrow process where there's a third party involved to make sure that A, the work gets done and B, that the freelancer ends up getting paid. So it's a big draw for the freelancer, but that was a really big draw for us to just have that third party to kind of verify and make sure that the work's getting done. That was a really important part of our decision to pick Upwork. Onboarding and integration was super simple on Upwork. I think we posted our first job and it took just a matter of minutes and we literally had... Matter of fact, if I even step back as I'm posting the job, they're already suggesting freelancers as I'm posting the job and I think we must have gotten 45 applicants to our first posting within the first hour, so just a amazing onboarding. We had suggested freelancers that they provided right off the bat and then we could invite those people if we chose. I think we invited a few of those and then we had 40 to 50 more applicants for the first job. And every other job has been almost the same experience of super simple, just like you'd make any other job posting. They have support documentation that's right there and available that's ready to use, but we didn't even really need to use that. It was pretty straightforward to just get right in there, post the job, and get applicants very quickly. If you're considering Upwork versus any other platform or just in general, I'd say go for it. We've tried several of the competitors, but they're onboarding's super simple, their support's really quick to respond and most importantly, you're there to look for people to do work for you. We have internal teams, but when we get larger projects and we need overflow, we're able to go get applicants, and fill positions, and get work done very, very quickly. And that's why we've chosen Upwork, that's why we stick with Upwork, and we really don't use any other platform for finding freelancers or finding talent at our organization.
