Over 1,000 companies – from startups to industry leaders like Airbnb, Wayfair, Cintas, Carmax, Doordash, and Zillow – trust Gem to hire with speed and ease.
Any small to large size business that is looking to prioritize finding the right fit for their organization's open position(s).
I think my favorite part of Gem are all of the reporting dashboards our team has access to. I'm a visual person so I appreciate how easy it is to digest all of our Gem data on our various dashboards.
Sometimes finds the wrong emails. It does not talk to LinkedIn.
Overall, Gem is a great tool for any company's recruiting stack. It's got a ton of features, great integrations, and they're backed by top tier VCs.
Also, sometimes the boolean search says that there are no results but if we erase it and re-enter the same boolean search it works again, so no big deal.
I liked the ease of use and seamless set-up for automated workflows and candidate management. I also love that we can create campaign and keep candidates engaged through email campaigns.
Sending inmail sequence is not automated and that is a lot of stress.
I love the amount of features I can leverage without feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information. Gem feels very intuitive and well-designed.
Sometimes the integration between Lever and Gem doesn't work and some candidates get lost.
I love how easy it is to navigate the site. Being able to see where each of the candidate's stage in the employment application is great.
This needs to work better from my cell phone because I'm always on the go. This is terrible on IOS.
The recruiting feature with indeed and the short answer. I like that it gives me an idea of who they are and what position would be the best fit for them at my company before I talk with them.
I'm new to this and have yet to fully use the product so no comment just yet.
Easy to use and provides useful information. Been nice watching them grow and expand their offerings to include things like job-posting and video interview.
I cannot create multiple posting in specific areas of my state and I get too many out of state candidates.
Everything is great and when I needed help I could get it from a friendly rep.
I didnt find the right candidate unfortunately but I am picky.
Scott: My name is Scott. I'm head of recruiting. We have 40 people in our company, and I give GEM a rating of five on a scale of one to five. Prior to GEM, I was using LinkedIn Recruiter exclusively, which, InMails just don't get through to every candidate. A lot of people, including myself, don't look at InMails often, and GEM was able to find email addresses. It was able to send drip campaigns, because the first message, a lot of people ignore, second message also. And it also shows if the person opened up your email or not. All the reasons. So I've chosen GEM at three different companies. I've brought it with me. It was actually a condition of my employment at one company, where I would not accept if they did not give me GEM. All the reasons. It allows you to see if someone opened the email that you sent them. It allows you to track if they clicked on a link, and how many times and when. And it also shows if the email bounced. So those are some of the reasons I've used it. Getting set up with GEM is super easy. I can do it within a day. It's very fast. The other thing that I started using in the last two years at this current company is their analytics, which are linked to Greenhouse, and that was very easy to set up as well. If you're thinking about using GEM, definitely try out a few other products. A lot of them will offer a two-week free trial. I've used several of them, but consistently keep going back to GEM. Make sure you integrate it with everything that you can. Calendly, Greenhouse or any ATS, they're going to be integrated with it, and definitely use all those integrations.
Prioritize real-user-identified key features according to your needs to find your best fit.
