ConvertAPI's documentation was perfect, so we didn't have any questions while integrating it to our CRM system. Second benefit of ConvertAPI is that it gives great product for a great price.
The payment structure is very disappointing. Imagine paying $84 per month for 5,000 conversions.
Simple API and great "duration" payment mechanism, very good & responsive customer support.
To say something negative The price, It could be cheaper.
Big roster of supported filetypes, robust and customizable API. Helpful support, and quick rollout of bugfixes after i discovered one regarding their webhook support.
I'm from a software company that provides services for other companies. We were having trouble with an API that converts some documents.
ConvertAPI was really easy to integrate and ConvertAPI can handle >95% of our format needs. Conversion quality is really good because they are using a native application in the back.
Overall my experience was very negative. I would not recommend doing business with a company that doesn't put the terms or limitations of their plan upfront.
I appreciate its ability to effortlessly integrate various data sources. I used it to transform and move data from S3 to Redshift without any hassle.
Rates of data consumption for AWS Glue cannot be easily managed, which leads to data loss and corruption. Also, it can only process data in batches but not real time data.
Since AWS Glue comes easily integrable with other AWS Tools, it's easy to set up and looks like a clear choice when dealing with consumption of large amount of data.
In fact, you'll end up scratching your head many times as you try and work out why things aren't working. You need to really look at it hard and implement logging if you're going to work it out.
It can handle basic transformations and it's easy to use. Anyone with a desire to learn it could do so easily.
The good thing can sometimes be bad too, AWS Glue provides pre-built templates, there are limits to the customization that can be done.
Not my favorite ETL tool, but it's great for small jobs.
