Charles M
Mental Performance Consultant
5.0

Charles: Hi, my name is Charles. I'm a certified mental performance consultant. The size of my company is about two to five people right now. And my grade for Padlet is a five out of five. Before Padlet I didn't really have something like Padlet. I used to use Google Doc a lot to make content for my clients, the teams that I was working for. And it wasn't really working because I didn't have the same colors, the same interactivity, the different modes that Padlet offered, which was one of the big reason why we switched to Padlet because it gave us so much more options in terms of the interactivity we could do with the clients, especially online. Which made it a huge part of us completely switching to Padlet in terms of the workshop that we do with our clients. So all the reason we chose Padlet. So, like I said, it's very user-friendly, so very easy to set up for us, but also for the clients that is on the other side of the screen, whether they're 10 years old or 18 years old. So very user-friendly. The price was very good, it's something that matched our budget. The ability to have multiple users on the platform at the same time, the diverse format, which could be like grid view, bullet points, comparing images, step-by-step how to use a project and then what to do in terms of respecting our timeline. And also, I think I had some great conversation with the customer support. Had an issue once with some of the settings to set it up with the company and guys replied to me in few minutes and I was able to deal with my problem within one morning or one afternoon, which is obviously something that is a big difference-maker for us. Getting started with Padlet, I would say, was, I'm not going to say tricky but just a little bit harder than some other platforms. Which was not necessarily a negative point because there was so much more that we could do. So it's kind of like one bad aspect for multiple great aspect. So in terms of getting going, it was just a bit trickier just to find out how you were going to connect with the other person, how they were going to be able to see it. So that's something that definitely could be improved. But at the same time, when you want a product really bad you're able to go through that element of it. So in terms of how difficult it was, it's nothing crazy. I'd say 3.5 out of 5. If you want a platform that's going to allow you to connect with the people you're working with very easily and you'll be able to give them a setup that is so much more fun, so much more colorful and personalized rather than usual textbook plain white page or very plain document, that's why I would use Padlet. Also, if you're in a field where engagement is important, participation, commitment from your client is key, that would be one of my main recommendation for using Padlet because it allows you to do so much more. And there's a lot of more stuff that I'm sure they will come out with. So Padlet that's been improving with time, which means that you're going to get so much more than what you agreed on at the beginning if you decide to use Padlet.
