Ashley: My name is Ashley, I am the owner of Monday's Muse Creative Studio, we are a woman-owned website and branding agency. We absolutely love Flodesk, and if we had to give it a rating from one to five, we would give it a five star through and through. So, prior to using Flodesk, we were actually using MailerLite, we loved MailerLite until we got to about 1000 subscribers, and we needed more segments, and we really wanted to focus on all of our brand touch points, which really included our email marketing newsletters as well. When it came to MailerLite, the issues that we ran into was it was really hard to design beautiful and aesthetic emails for us to go out. As a branding and website agency, the look and feel of everything we send out is important, and that's mostly the reason why we chose Flodesk. The main reasons why we chose Flodesk were it was easy for us to set up our brand fonts, our brand colors, our logo, and our branding, just to make sure that everything were consistent so that our emails matched our website, as well as our social media brand touch points. The segments were perfect for us, as far as when we are launching any new products, we can set up sales waitlists and have them join the waitlist directly from the emails that we send out to any of our clients or potential customers. It also was easy to integrate into our website, which was a huge deal for us, we didn't want to have any of the third-party or Flodesk branding on our forms on our website. So, overall, Flodesk was very easy for us to customize and integrate, and the emails are so beautiful, we get compliments all the time on our emails, newsletters that we send out every month. It was so easy for us to get set up on Flodesk, everything is pretty much intuitive. The menus are laid out in a way that it's easy for even the basic knowledge of the platform to get up and get started. The only thing that I would say that I wish Flodesk would change when it comes to the setup of the platform is that there isn't a way to create permissions for the account. So, we had to create a new email and a password for all of the employees that would be in charge for creating and managing our email marketing. It would've been nice to have permissions, but other than that, everything else was super easy to get set up, even down to choosing the template for the email that you want to go out, or the workflow that you want to set up. What I would recommend for anybody who is looking to set up Flodesk or thinking about using Flodesk for their email marketing, if you are a service-based business, don't think twice, just do it. Your emails will look really professional, it's super easy to plug and play your brand fonts, your brand colors, and your logo, and to customize the layouts within the editor. If you are a smaller-based business, whether you're a medium-sized business or a large business, Flodesk, if you're service-based, will work for you. I can't stress enough how easy it was to get set up, and how beautiful the emails look.

Our past product was Mailchimp and it just wasn't customizable enough for what we needed. It didn't give us as many options to change the layout, or make columns, or individualize the emails as much as we really wanted for our brand. We chose iContact primarily because of how customizable it is. You have the option to change, not only fonts and colors, but the actual layout of the emails. You can make columns, you can put in blocks and dividers, and it's very customizable to match your brand. The other reason we chose it was we were looking for a platform that would have minimal junk pickup, I guess I would call it. Our members from some of our platforms we have tried in the past, our emails ended up in junk automatically, just because they were coming from that brand and iContact seems to have a better reputation with the junk sorters in emails. iContact was super are easy to get started with. Implementation was a breeze. We didn't even need their customer support to get going, really. It's very user intuitive. Non-designers can make emails look beautiful in iContact and uploading a member list is literally at a of a button. I highly recommend pursuing iContact. I haven't found a single fault with their program. It's user-friendly. It makes beautiful emails and honestly the price point is pretty fair as well.
