It's user friendly, the support team are fantastic, and it absolutely is worth the money for the extra customisation features.
By far, the most infuriating aspect of Streamyard is how it's limited to ten users per stream, including whoever is moderating/switching behind the scenes.
In the live ones it is the best experience I have used others, but the best really is STREAMYARD without a doubt the only thing to have the best is the price.
The media player maximums (length and file size) should also be expanded - currently, the video playback feature has a very small size (100mb I believe) and is limited to 1 minute.
Best Streaming Platform in the market. If you want get started for free then this is the best.
But it was likely due to issues with my Internet access. Unfortunately, I was too much of a rookie to know how to fix it while on the air (if I even could have).
I love how easy it is to use streamyard. Maybe this was one of the first app that I use for livestreaming but it was generally super easy to use and all my guest didn't have much issue connecting.
It was a bit grainy (but that could be any software...even Zoom). Its cost is lower than the others, but it does not integrate with as many other tools, either.
It has been an excellent experience that exceeded our expectations. We are new to this type of system, and did not know what to expect, but it has been pleasant and efficient.
Livestreaming not so much. I am very disappointed with the weekly livestream.
I love the ease of scheduling the events. You set the date/time and LiveControl takes it from there.
Being a limited organization is size, I have a small amount of people, doing a lot of work. So in the beginning making a decision by Friday at 9am for my Sunday service, I missed the cut off time.
Great customer service, great help getting set-up, filming rarely goes as I expect no matter how many notes I leave for the camera operators.
The system uses whatever happened to be in front of the camera at the moment it went live as its thumbnail, and it makes it very difficult to make sense of the archived recordings.
This product is easy to use once installed and training took place. I like the simplicity of the dashboard, screen share feature, and the multi-camera features the most.
This system its supposed to be less work for me but it has become more work for me. I feel frustrated with the changing of operators not knowing the flow of the service.
Kelly: Hi, I'm Kelly. I'm senior sales director with Mary Kay. We use Streamyard to not only train our salesforce, but also to inform our clients of our amazing products. I give Streamyard five out of five. Before Streamyard, we were using OneStream, I believe it was called. That was very difficult to use. It was not user-friendly and we weren't able to put any of the scrolling things. None of the headers. We weren't able to have multiple people on the screen. And so it just didn't work for what we needed it for so we definitely had to make a switch. We ended up going to a Streamyard because you're able to have multiple users on it one time. You're able to bring guest speakers in. And the thing that I love the most is that we're able to have scrolling banners at the bottom. So as I'm talking about a product or teaching on a subject, I can have that scrolling across the bottom or just sitting there still so that my clients or my team members can see exactly what I'm talking about. So when you get started with Streamyard, the biggest thing is making sure if you're using another platform that you give Streamyard permission to go ahead and use that platform. So, for example, we used Meta and Facebook, and so we had to make sure that we had those talking to each other. It was actually really simple. Streamyard gives very simple instructions to be able to get started using products right out the gate. So within five minutes of making the decision and getting started with Streamyard, we were able to go ahead and go live right into Facebook using Streamyard along with our banners. If you're looking at Streamyard, I would definitely go ahead, look at the competitors, but you're going to come back to Streamyard because of all the great features that it has and the ease that it is to be able to get started. Streamyard is super easy. It gives you everything that you're looking for when it comes to streaming along with communicating with people while you're live and you're able to do a whole lot of other things that makes it super simple. Streamyard is what you're going to end up choosing.
