There is a wealth of instruments and sound presets to choose from, and the very strong quality of the built in plugins means that sounds are endlessly customizable.
I find Apple's constant hiding of professional features annoying though.
Using Logic pro gas widen and broadened my scope in music production. From the sweet and user friendly interface to the amazing customizable sounds it has makes it super beautiful to use.
I haven't found something that I disliked so far.
I love how intuitive the software is, and I feel like it does a great job of depicting the audio visually- especially when it comes to automation.
Even though there are plenty of tools built for Logic Pro, the fact that it can't run VST plugins is disappointing.
I love the amount of creative freedom Logic gives me especially after all the updates that have happened over the years.
You still have to be careful with deleting stuff because under certain settings it has destructive editing features.
It's free and is great if you are on a tight budget. It served it's purpose and gave me an opportunity to record music that sounded like great demos.
After 6 hours of editing and episode for my podcast, the files corrupted. I was devastated and so stressed out and frustrated I laid on my floor and cried.
It has a lot of useful fuctions and I love simple process to edit all audios I need. I can also reduce background noises and it's simply perfect for me.
I am finding it difficult to separate vocals, I wonder if the effect really works because my attempts have proved abortive.
I like playing guitars with backing tracks. I love Audacity because it is very easy to use and make my own backing tracks.
It is no Adobe Audition although it's her poor cousin. It will do loads although for major audio editing projects and professional production work you will begin to see where it falls behind.
What I like best about this software is how simple it is to use, even when it is my first time using it. I appreciate the editing capabilities of this software.
It didn't work well on my HP laptop, so I had to put the program on my computer which has faster programming and it seems to fix the issue.
Jamie M.: Hi, my name's Jamie. I'm a safety and security investigator at William Hills, which is a company with over 10,000 employees, and I give Logic a five-star rating. We use the audio editing functions in our job mostly to take audio taken in shops that are recorded and put it into just how we need it so we can cut out the bits that we don't want, keep the bits that we do want, and we use that for work purposes. What I like most about Logic Pro is the ease of use. It's quite intuitive, especially when you're trying to put in crossfades at the beginning and end of audio files. It's very quick and easy to use if you want to move audio around. Exporting tracks is quick and generally it serves its purpose and it does it very well. So the things that I'm not a great fan of in Logic Pro is the amount of menus that you have to go through to get to the plugins that you might want. I find that there's an option where you can do drag and drop, but through the menu windows, if the mouse slides off a little bit, you have to start the whole process again, and on long editing sessions, that can become a little bit tedious.
Harlan: Hi. My name is Harlan, and I'm Director of Operations. I give Audacity five stars. And for more reviews like this, click below. We considered using Sound Forge, which was an open source software. But we liked Audacity better, so we went with Audacity. The reason why we chose Audacity was their tech support was outstanding. They made it very easy to onboard. And, of course, the software is easy to use, a very small learning curve. Basically, it was us downloading the software, contacting tech support to get us all onboarded. The process took probably 20 minutes, and we were up and running and editing audio software, which was great. I highly recommend Audacity for other business users, especially if you're looking to edit presentation software. If you need to insert sounds or clips, it just makes it very easy to do so with Audacity. Highly recommend it.
