SAP Business One vs xTuple: Which is a better fit?

The process is confusing as hell, and even people who have been using the product for years still struggle with understanding its methodology.

SAP Business One is a great ERP system that is fully customizable and has many great and helpful features that help any business automate all processes.

SAP Business One is difficult in integration and limited in database.

I'm very happy with SAP Business One. It's helped me to improve my performance in a number of ways, including improving product quality and hence customer ssatisfaction.

The functionalities are limited in production planning and scheduling and the sowftware is not the most flexible.

Technologically, it is head and shoulders above the crowd. The capability to tailor the product and features to meet a customer's requirements is outstanding.

I found it very difficult to use when we had started. The analyze reports are not always very accurate and you need to spend time to enter manually and fix it.

I think the extendability of the software has to the the strongest feature. Great care has gone into letting you add features in a very maintainable fashion.

The cost accounting functionality is a disaster. However, it's hard to blame on Xtuple necessarily, I believe it was the implementation of the platform.

I like the open source platform and the ability to extend and customize as needed. The ability to customze allows us to integrate with other systems as requested by our customers.

Well our biggest issue with this software is, while the program is customizable, any major changes would be lost in upgrades or would be broken from the upgrade process.

I like it because it is windows based and its customizable. The price tag for the software is very attractive and the yearly maintenance fee is fair as well.

There is no rev control and no ecn functionality. Other software that I have used in other companies has those things automatically built in.

XTuple has most of the nice features of an expensive ERP at a very affordable price. All our departments work in tune and have full vision of what is going on on the day to day activities.

Th lack of intuitive functionality and the old style interface forced us to go to QuickBooks.
