I love this software because I love that I can trust the website when it comes to financial information of others. I am a user and knowing this is very pleasing.
It is somewhat difficult to learn. There are many variables that can confuse teachers in creating gradebooks and in accessing information.
I love how the layout of it is. It makes it easy and I love the app itself it tells my grades.
When you click on "Gradebook," you get an error message that says "Not available when viewing all students. The first time I logged in, I had a hard time figuring out how to view the kids' grades.
They are always improving and keeping up with current trends. Skyward has absolutely OUTSTANDING customer service.
Some of the features are clunky and hard to use. It is extremely difficult to access messages that people have sent me in Skyward.
Running reports is intuitive and the ability to produce reports in PDF or Excel is fantastic.
It does not integrate with anything. It is extremely difficult to import grades from any other program or online curriculum/grading system.

Based on my experience with this software the major problem encountered is network problem. Sometime i face difficulties in assessing the softwar4e in the net.

SAFSMS is easy to use, flexible and accessible to all users. To me, it's being a splendid experience.
Initially, we Operators were allowed to create the terms, sessions etc, but lately it's being done centrally which in some cases are delayed. This may be an internal control issue, i do not know).
Andrew D.: I'm Andrew. I'm a high school teacher. I would give Skyward Student Management Suite a four out of five rating. And for more reviews like this, click below. Before Skyward, we were using Power School and it just didn't integrate quite as well. And it was a little more difficult for students to navigate is the main reasons we switched to Skyward. I chose Skyward because it integrates really well with the Google Classroom suite of tools. I can migrate all of my student grades straight from classroom over to Skyward. Students and parents have really great access to everything, not just grades, but also attendance and lunch balances. We can see their alert information, any other things like that. It's got everything in one spot. There was definitely a learning curve when getting started with Skyward. It's quite unique in some of its features, but after a two or three week learning period, it was very easy to navigate and personalize, which was a great feature as well. If you're considering getting Skyward, definitely look to see how it integrates with the programs that teachers are already using, because there are some that can be a little bit buggy getting started or getting them to work with, but the ones that it works well with, it really makes integration across platforms very easy.
