Vijilan vs Hack The Box: Which is a better fit?

Overall it has been great, they have a great development road map and it is very affordable for a SIEM/SOC.

Sometimes slow response from SOC to receive the answer. Unable to monitor the devices where Threat Sensor is not visible (remote computers).

Everyone I've interacted with is passionate about the software and want to ensure their customers are satisfied and understand everything they're getting and what's going on.

Can be annoying for cloud-only, or born in the cloud SMBs. Also requires onsite presence so we can't fully deploy behind the scenes.

The support team is fantastic and responsive when needed, point is that we never need them.

Some of the alerts can be a bit noisy and don't always give the most detailed information.

Primarly in education there is not a lot of money and information security is often the last priority so having a partner that allows us to provide a great service and a great price is invaluable.

I like the ability to continuously improve my pentesting skills and the training it provides in helping keep my network secure.

It gets difficult at times, and any small mistakes in the answers by the author can result in hours of wasted time trying to figure out the "solution.

Great experience if you are an avid learner. There is content for defenders and attackers.

Without being biased, I did not find something least satisfying about the platform.

I love the content or study material in terms of academy and Normal hack the box. I love the retired rooms feature which help me in starting the HTB.

Lack of video content on their courses, reading can be really tiring for a couple of hours.

Thanks to HackTheBox Academy I rediscovered my passion for hacking. Every module is wonderfully written.
